In this episode, Nkechi Nwafor-Robinson sits down with Vasie Papadopoulus. Vasie has over 15 years of experience working both in the public and private sectors. Previously, she worked in Transit, and was a political aide. Currently, she is the Communications and Outreach Manager for Philip Morris International in Canada. In 2015, she founded a volunteer organization called OurWrite, which strives to allow ‘Every female to be their own superhero’ through building, maintaining and supporting female-centric schools and community centres. OurWrite has helped build and raise funds for 2 educational facilities in Khovd, Mongolia and Oaxaca, Mexico. She is the co-host of a podcast entitled The Future Of and has her own shoe line, with 5 shoe designs. She has been nominated for, 2018 YWCA Woman of the Year Award, 2020 Diversity and Inclusion Award with the CCDI, and was voted in as Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada, by the Women's Executive Network (WXN).
