A) Without the shedding of blood: The blood sacrifice was required to redeem the blood sinner. The Old Testament purification system is NOT just some tedious ritualistic process. It was a testimony from God about how redemption would be coming. Yes…people missed it. B) Now, we get to this excellent picture of Jesus. First, he goes into heaven itself. His ascension to the right hand of the Father is one of the most critical moments in our faith’s history/ Why? Because His new placement opens up His new ministry. C) Remember, the Holy Spirit is continuing the ministry of Jesus on earth through the church, the authentic believers in Jesus. D) Tada! The next ministry of Jesus is pictured. He is at the right hand of Father, for OUR sakes. Why? He talks to the Father on our behalf.
