Welcome with your host and business guru, Nakisha King.
Speaker A:This podcast is the ultimate destination for women creative entrepreneurs who want to break free from burnout.
Speaker A:If you are overwhelmed by client demands and feel like you're doing this all alone, you, my friend, are in the right place.
Speaker A:Now let's dive in for steps to take back your time and see.
Speaker A:Simplify your workflow.
Speaker B:All right, Nikisha, take it away.
Speaker B:There are moments in life and business where everything feels uncertain.
Speaker B:The client slows down, the plan shift, the confidence wavers, and suddenly you start asking yourself, do I really know what I'm doing?
Speaker B:If you've ever felt like this, my love, I want you to take a deep breath with me.
Speaker B:Because uncertainty isn't proof that you're feeling.
Speaker B:It's proof that you are growing.
Speaker B:Welcome to the Iconic CEO podcast, where free spirits like you fall in love with systems.
Speaker B:I am your host, Nikisha King, the disruptive system sales and systems coach.
Speaker B:And this place is for creatives and women entrepreneurs who build something bigger than themselves, AKA empires.
Speaker B:You're ready to stop second guessing and start leading with belief, with structure.
Speaker B:And so you are in the right place.
Speaker B:So today, what we're talking about on the Iconic CEO podcast is something that every CEO, no matter what gender you are, but especially women, face at some point in her journey.
Speaker B:Trusting yourself when everything feels uncertain.
Speaker B:Because here's the truth.
Speaker B:We're not here to question who we are, but we're here to discover who we are.
Speaker B:And in that discovery, there are seasons where your voice feels quieted, your choices feel questioned, and your power feels distance.
Speaker B:You may have been conditioned to minimize yourself, to hand over your confidence to others who knew better than you.
Speaker B:But if they truly knew better than you, wouldn't you have been the one who benefited from their knowledge?
Speaker B:And the truth is, you've always had the answers within you.
Speaker B:You just needed the space, the stillness, and the courage to trust them.
Speaker B:To trust you.
Speaker B:I remember a season in my journey.
Speaker B:Maybe you'll be able to relate.
Speaker B:When I trusted everyone except me.
Speaker B:I trusted the tech guys who built my e commerce store that never went public.
Speaker B:I trusted the partner or spouse that always told me, price low.
Speaker B:I. I trusted the well meaning friends who told me what my business should look like.
Speaker B:I trusted the voices that said, you need a niche down this way.
Speaker B:You should discount your prices to make more money.
Speaker B:You have to post like her to get a lot more followers.
Speaker B:And I'm going to be honest.
Speaker B:For a while, I listened because deep down, I was scared of feeling.
Speaker B:Yes, I was scared of feeling like so many of us, scared of getting it wrong.
Speaker B:Scared that if I trusted myself and it didn't work, I would hear I told you so.
Speaker B:Scared it would confirm the fear that maybe I wasn't cut out to be a successful iconic CEO.
Speaker B:But what I learned, painfully beautifully, is that failure isn't the enemy.
Speaker B:Failure is my teacher, my phenomenal teacher.
Speaker B:Every misstep taught me something about who I was, what I wanted, how I was meant to lead.
Speaker B:Every decision that didn't work out was refining me, not rejecting me.
Speaker B:And as a perfectionist, rejection always felt heavy.
Speaker B:When I began to listen to my intuition and.
Speaker B:And pair that with structure, that's when my business started to shift in ways I didn't know was possible.
Speaker B:That's when I stopped reacting and started designing.
Speaker B:That's when I stopped asking what should I do?
Speaker B:And I started asking what feels aligned.
Speaker B:Because that's what an iconic CEO does.
Speaker B:She leads with both intention and intuition.
Speaker B:She honors her flow and builds her framework.
Speaker B:Now, what is the lesson here, my love?
Speaker B:So I want you.
Speaker B:And what I've learned through all of this is self trust is a system.
Speaker B:It's an immaculate system.
Speaker B:It's built through consistency, through decision making, and through following through on what you said you'll do, even when no one is watching you.
Speaker B:The more you honor your word, the more your word starts to carry weight.
Speaker B:And that's how you rebuild belief, not overnight, but through practice.
Speaker B:Because trusting yourself doesn't mean you never doubt yourself again.
Speaker B:Now, my love, it means you learn to keep going even when doubt shows up.
Speaker B:And that's the muscle we build as women in business, the muscle of belief.
Speaker B:When everything feels uncertain, belief becomes your anchor.
Speaker B:It's not loud, it's not flashy.
Speaker B:It's quiet, steady and rooted.
Speaker B:It, my love, is called the quiet storm.
Speaker B:And that's the kind of power that sustains you when motivation fades.
Speaker B:That's the power we all need.
Speaker B:So let's talk about the iconic moves that you are going to take down from today's podcast so you can implement easily into your life.
Speaker B:These three iconic moves will help you rebuild a trust in yourself when everything around you feels uncertain.
Speaker B:Number one, I want you to keep a proof of your power.
Speaker B:It's a list.
Speaker B:Every time you make a power move, a decision that turns out well, write it down or pull out your phone and record it as a memo.
Speaker B:Then I want you to take this list and I want you to read it every morning and if you can, every night, add it to your routine so you can build that muscle of belief.
Speaker B:So when doubts start coming, you have these answers.
Speaker B:The evidence that you've done hard things before.
Speaker B:And you do them again and again until they become easy.
Speaker B:Number two, give yourself permission to fail forward and fail fast.
Speaker B:You don't need to get it right to grow.
Speaker B:You need to move.
Speaker B:Every wrong decision simply reveals a better one.
Speaker B:Think about it.
Speaker B:Every wrong one is an opening to a better one, a better action.
Speaker B:So instead of asking, what if it doesn't work?
Speaker B:Ask what will I learn if it doesn't work?
Speaker B:Oh, my God, that one was such a hit for me.
Speaker B:And number three, build systems that support your confidence.
Speaker B:Yes, mindset matters, but systems make it sustainable.
Speaker B:Because confidence fades when chaos leads.
Speaker B:Create routines, structure, and workflows that make it easy to follow through.
Speaker B:Systems are the bridge between your belief and your results.
Speaker B:When you put structure behind your intuition, your success stops being random.
Speaker B:It becomes repeatable.
Speaker B:It becomes consistent.
Speaker B:So as you move through this week, I want you to remember this.
Speaker B:You, my friend, are not broken in any way.
Speaker B:You are becoming.
Speaker B:You are not lost.
Speaker B:You are learning.
Speaker B:And you don't need anyone's permission.
Speaker B:Not your spouse, not your mom, not your dad, not your best friend, not your siblings or anyone, to trust your own brilliance.
Speaker B:You were allowed to shine.
Speaker B:You are allowed to believe in yourself again.
Speaker B:You are allowed to play it big.
Speaker B:Because when you shrink, no one wins.
Speaker B:But when you rise, everyone rises with you.
