Hey everybody, welcome to the episode of Course
Tara Bryan:Building Secrets® Podcast, I am thrilled that you're here. Hey,
Tara Bryan:in today's episode, I want to talk about creating lasting
Tara Bryan:connection with your customer and how it is the key to your
Tara Bryan:success. Even if you are creating an evergreen or a
Tara Bryan:hybrid experience, so that you can help and scale your
Tara Bryan:business.
Tara Bryan:Alright, so we're gonna dive into this topic, it is near and
Tara Bryan:dear to my heart as you think about how do you not only build
Tara Bryan:a business that you love, but one that your members love, and
Tara Bryan:they and connect with you. Okay, so in the world of coaching,
Tara Bryan:strong connections with your customer, key to your success,
Tara Bryan:it is all about how you can maintain those connections, how
Tara Bryan:can keep people's attention and get them results so that they
Tara Bryan:stay and they're super happy with what you've have, what you
Tara Bryan:offer. Alright, let's let's talk about how to do that even if you
Tara Bryan:are in an evergreen or hybrid experience, which we call
Tara Bryan:infinite scale. And the very first thing to do is, in first
Tara Bryan:impressions matter, right? Like think about how first
Tara Bryan:impressions make a huge impact when you meet somebody for the
Tara Bryan:first time, right? So the very first thing I would recommend is
Tara Bryan:to have a personalized onboarding plan. How do you
Tara Bryan:build something that gives people expectations, help them
Tara Bryan:feel valued and and have them know that they're in the right
Tara Bryan:place. Having a one on one call, if you're going to have one is
Tara Bryan:awesome as the stage of the game, it sets the tone, it gives
Tara Bryan:you a chance to get to know somebody, you know who they are,
Tara Bryan:what they like, and sort of what their personality is. And then
Tara Bryan:you can drop them into a personalized onboarding
Tara Bryan:experience, which means that they are getting what they need
Tara Bryan:at the exact moment, they're getting it. And so while you've
Tara Bryan:created, you know, sort of a standard curriculum, a signature
Tara Bryan:methodology that has a starting point and an ending point,
Tara Bryan:everyone may be starting to sound a little bit of a
Tara Bryan:different place, right. Like, if you are really specific about
Tara Bryan:your avatar, and you're only getting people in who are
Tara Bryan:exactly the same, then great, but most of the time, we're
Tara Bryan:going to have people who are you know, have the who have the
Tara Bryan:following that you can solve, they're just starting at
Tara Bryan:slightly a different pace. So drop them in at the right place,
Tara Bryan:that allows them to feel like they are in the right place, and
Tara Bryan:that they are able to go through the experience that's going to
Tara Bryan:be helpful for them and not just create a cookie cutter, it will
Tara Bryan:make a huge difference.
Tara Bryan:The second thing is like think about how you're engaging people
Tara Bryan:when you're creating content. And when you're communicating,
Tara Bryan:Number four is automating with a personal touch, and I have this
Tara Bryan:the more you can, obviously personalized experience, but
Tara Bryan:really think about how are you helping them take action? How
Tara Bryan:can you challenge them, or include them in the flow of the
Tara Bryan:content so that they feel like they're a part of it, right? And
Tara Bryan:it's personalized to them, and make sure that your personality
Tara Bryan:is coming out, right. So when you're creating engaging content
Tara Bryan:and communications, it's about their journey. And you're the
Tara Bryan:guide that's guiding them through that journey. But also
Tara Bryan:like to show your personality, people are attracted to
Tara Bryan:different people and different people's messages. And so
Tara Bryan:there's a reason why people and someone chose you, in order to
Tara Bryan:help them you get from point A to point B, they wanted you to
Tara Bryan:be their guide or their mentor. And so a little bit of
Tara Bryan:personality, who are you and bringing that into the
Tara Bryan:conversation that will help them and connect and engage with you
Tara Bryan:as you continue forward in the experience, even if you're not
Tara Bryan:showing why. One of my favorite stories that I always tell is
Tara Bryan:that I was at a conference. And someone came up to me like, oh
Tara Bryan:my gosh, like you totally helped me this morning, you know, when
Tara Bryan:you were teaching me this thing, and then and I'm like, I didn't
Tara Bryan:talk to you this morning. And he was like, Oh my gosh, yes, it
Tara Bryan:was the video that I was watching. And so the did the key
Tara Bryan:to remember is that like, even if you're not coming up live,
Tara Bryan:and maybe I'll use this as a as a podcast as another day. But
Tara Bryan:they're still engaging with you. They're still learning from you.
Tara Bryan:They're still, you know, being a part of the experience that you
Tara Bryan:automation doesn't have to be like, you know, super cold and
Tara Bryan:are creating for them. And so it's super important to remember
Tara Bryan:formal and it just like a form letter, right? It can really be
Tara Bryan:that. Just the other day, I had one of my clients say how you
Tara Bryan:personalized. And feel like it's coming from your actual email
Tara Bryan:inbox, right? I was just thinking about this this
Tara Bryan:know, like, I've been out of the office, and I've been doing all
Tara Bryan:morning, as I need to send out some follow up for an event that
Tara Bryan:I did was like, Oh, well, I should just write individual
Tara Bryan:these things, and I feel super disengaged with this group that
Tara Bryan:messages to people. And I tell them like, Okay, well, what if I
Tara Bryan:sent out an automated email that looked like it was a personal
Tara Bryan:I have going through my experience. It's a really weird
Tara Bryan:message from me? Would there be a difference? And then the
Tara Bryan:answer's no, right? Like, I'm still putting thought into it,
Tara Bryan:feeling. And, you know, she's like, well, I just had been kind
Tara Bryan:I'm still thinking about the person, I'm still creating an
Tara Bryan:email that is personalized, it just is going to be personalized
Tara Bryan:of feeling like that. But then that morning, one of her clients
Tara Bryan:for multiple people. And the automation will do that for you.
Tara Bryan:And it's a really nice way for you to think about the
Tara Bryan:came up to her and said, Oh my gosh, like, I don't know how you
Tara Bryan:connection, but also be able to deliver without having to write
Tara Bryan:you know, 4200 emails, or whatever it is. So really think
Tara Bryan:feel disconnected. I feel like I'm talking to you five times a
Tara Bryan:about that strategy. You can add regular live interactions into
Tara Bryan:day. And she was like, oh my god, like Yeah, because of that.
Tara Bryan:your experience, meaning, there are times that you're showing up
Tara Bryan:live, obviously, live virtual is always a good idea. But also
Tara Bryan:experience that you had created, this person felt totally
Tara Bryan:through surveys and polls and direct conversations, just like
Tara Bryan:ways that you're asking for feedback to be able to get that
Tara Bryan:connected with her, even though she would have doing something
Tara Bryan:two way conversation going on.
Tara Bryan:Number seven, again, to show your authentic self like be
Tara Bryan:else. And still remember the power of what is happening
Tara Bryan:human, be who you are, and and show up that way. That is
Tara Bryan:behind the scenes, because you have created something that
Tara Bryan:something that is super important for people, they want
Tara Bryan:to know your journey, and they want to know your successes,
Tara Bryan:your challenges. And everything else in between. Now, be
Tara Bryan:people are able to engage with you even if you're okay, and
Tara Bryan:professional and don't, you know, bring them into your mess,
Tara Bryan:number three is, you know, really working on creating a
Tara Bryan:if there's something that's going on that you're going
Tara Bryan:through, but share your lesson, learn share who you are and what
Tara Bryan:you're going through and how you can relate to them, because it's
Tara Bryan:vibrant community or group where people can feel connected with
Tara Bryan:really gonna help you create a connection.
Tara Bryan:So definitely, these are kind of the seven tips that I would say
Tara Bryan:you, but then also with other people who are going through the
Tara Bryan:are helpful. You can create a connection even if you're
Tara Bryan:creating an evergreen or hybrid experience, where you're not
Tara Bryan:like in front of them all of the time. And then you can do these
Tara Bryan:same experience. And this doesn't have to be done live in
Tara Bryan:things and it doesn't add any more time to your day. And that
Tara Bryan:person or live on the phone, this could be something that
Tara Bryan:is the key is how do you create that connection without
Tara Bryan:literally being on the phone or having somebody in front of you
Tara Bryan:you're creating and fostering community, even if people are
Tara Bryan:all the time. Alright, so there you go. That is how you build
Tara Bryan:lasting connections in your hybrid or evergreen coaching
Tara Bryan:connecting, live and in person or even live virtual. And and so
Tara Bryan:model, all about being personal, engaging and authentic. So
Tara Bryan:hopefully this episode was helpful for you. If you need
Tara Bryan:really think about how do you connect people together, even
Tara Bryan:help kind of dialing in how to do some of these, definitely
Tara Bryan:schedule a free coaching call with me, and we'll see where you
Tara Bryan:again, they're not going through at the same time, there are
Tara Bryan:are and how we can help you implement these into your
Tara Bryan:budget. And if you love this episode, as always, please feel
Tara Bryan:definitely ways to create that connection point. So work on that.
Tara Bryan:free to subscribe, rate and leve a review. I can't wait to catch
Tara Bryan:up with you next time. And until then, have a great day.
