Love At Work: The Promise - by Ken Wetmore
The fifth commandment transitions us from how to love God well to how to love our fellow human beings well. In this commandment, we can see both our earthly parents as well as our heavenly Parent. This is the only commandment that has a promise attached because of its difficulty and its importance.
This week our #WholeLifeReflections asked:
- What does it mean to you, to give “weight” to your parents?
- Do you have any “spiritual” parents? How can you honor them?
- What legacy do you want to pass on to your biological or spiritual children?
Which ‘Reflection’ resonated with you most and what would you say in answer? Let us know by reaching out with any of the links below!
