What does being in a Matrix mean?
A matrix, in the KJV Bible is the womb. It is mentioned 5 times (in the books of Exodus and Numbers). In essence, the matrix is a birthing chamber.
But the term, since the movie the Matrix, back 1999, has taken a life of its own.
The Matrix is where average people who do not believe in themselves live and that's where they do not amount to anything great. That's the general belief, as in to believe in the lie. Mediocrity is also a generally accepted term.
Jesus came to call people out of the Matrix of unbelief, of mediocrity, of ordinary, of superficial. He said:
βIf you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.β ~John 8:31-32
But, I know from experience, that most arenβt really interested in the truth. Most do not hold to the teachings of Jesus. And most aren't really free -- and that includes many Christians.
So, today, weβre going to explore the eigth different Matrixes that we are called to go through on our quest for the deeper truths of God.
So, take the red pill, and let's go down the rabbit hole together!
