This week we're kicking off our new retrospective series on 1980s Neo-Noir films. Our first installment focuses on the 1980 classic by Paul Schrader, 'American Gigolo,' a film that left a significant mark on 80s culture during the turn of the decade. After discussing 'American Gigolo' in our Recommendation Shelf segment, we'll share some additional Richard Gere films that we believe deserve more recognition and that we have a deep appreciation for.

Sam is highly anticipating the new James Wan DC superhero film, 'Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom' coming out December 22nd.
Bee watched 'The Addiction' by Dir. Abel Ferrara on Criterion, 'Suspiria' by Dir. Dario Argento on Criterion, and 'Blood and Black Lace' by Dir. Mario Bava on Tubi
