But right now, let's have a quick fitness tip from Coach Geovi.
Speaker:
Have a listen and let us know what you think.
Speaker:
Hello, hello, hello.
Speaker:
This is Coach Geovi in the reGeovinate Fitness Health and Wellness Studio, with today's
Speaker:
fitness tip, which reminds us to RSVP at the end of the season.
Speaker:
Number one, rest.
Speaker:
I know this may be the hardest thing to do for a tennis player, but we must give our sore
Speaker:
muscles and injuries time to rest and heal.
Speaker:
Number two, stretch.
Speaker:
As much as we just want to keep hitting the ball, we should take advantage of this time
Speaker:
and focus on stretching and physical mainings.
Speaker:
Check the show notes for a good stretch for tennis players.
Speaker:
Number three, visualize.
Speaker:
By visualizing success, you allow positive images to dominate your mind and help you play
Speaker:
at your peak.
Speaker:
There's more in the show notes.
Speaker:
Number four, plank.
Speaker:
Consider taking our off-season plank challenge to build a core strength.
Speaker:
Complete 20 minutes of planking over 20 days at one minute per day.
Speaker:
See the show notes for a link to a video that will talk you through it.
Speaker:
Oh, and make sure to RSVP to your team captain with your availability for your next season.
Speaker:
Good luck to all of you in playoffs and as always, may the courts be with you.
