2021 may already be under way, but it’s never too late to get focused and set your intentions for what you are going to Achieve in 2021.
I'm not a huge fan of new year resolutions, as they tend to be a bit vague and half-hearted and then people wonder why they don’t succeed.
But I am a fan of goal setting, for making the decision to commitment to achieving something that you desire.
When you have a target and a goal to aim for, you can focus with intention towards making it happen, otherwise you’re just leaving your time, you focus, your actions to chance.
Think of all the different sports with goals, or targets, well imagine if the took those away, they’d just be running around with no purpose and nothing to aim for.
So, you can decide if you’re going to live your year, your life, with focused intention or leave it to chance.
Any day is a good day to focus and decide what you would like to achieve in the next 12 months.
Some people like to do it at the start of the year, do it on their birthdays.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a special day, or a random day on the calendar, whatever day you are ready to get clarity and focus, ask yourself;
Where am I currently heading?
What would I like to achieve in the next 12 months?
What’s my primary target/goal that I want to Achieve?
21 for 2021.
To help you get started I’ve created a 21 for 2021 printable for you to write down at least 21 things you would like to achieve in 2021.
Visit http://christianbaker.net/blog/what-do-you-want-to-achieve-in-2021 to grab your copy.
Take a couple of minutes to write down 21 things you would like to accomplish, enjoy or experience in 2021.
It’s not limited to 21, I have a client that every year between Christmas and New Year who writes a list of 100 goals for the new year. Others like to come up with a number relating to that year’s birthday for example 40 for 40 or 50 for 50.
Whatever number you choose, however you choose to do it, whatever you choose to focus on, the most important thing is, whether or not you will decide to give yourself some goals to work towards, or if you’re just going to leave your accomplishments in 2021 to chance.
It’s always worth remembering the time is going to pass anyway, why not choose to focus with some purpose and enjoy the time, knowing you are getting closer to the goals, the life and the outcomes that you desire!
In 2021 we all...
Even with the current uncertainty in the world, how will you make 2021 count?
Imagine what you would like to achieve by this time next year.
If you really want to achieve something, make the decision, write it down, and then commit to taking daily consistent action towards making it happen.
Visit http://christianbaker.net/blog/what-do-you-want-to-achieve-in-2021 to print off the printable and write down your list of the 21 goals you are looking forward to achieving in 2021.
Feel free to share your 21 goals with me, I’d love to hear what you have planned.
