About the Guest:

Lori Bamber is a senior editor with The Self-Publishing Agency. Her decades-long experience in print, radio, TV and online media elevates her primary skillset and mission: helping people tell their stories in ways that connect, heal and reveal the universality of our unique experiences.

Formerly Chatelaine Magazine’s Money Expert and a regular contributor to Alberta Venture Magazine and BCBusiness Magazine, she is the author of seven books on personal finance. Along with co-hosting CKNW radio’s Moneyline show and guest-hosting the nationally networked Money Talks program, she appeared on television programs across the country, including Marketplace and CBC NewsWorld. Since 2004, she’s collaborated on thousands of Globe and Mail special feature articles as a writer and managing editor with RandallAnthony Communications, interviewing Canada’s most accomplished leaders about the ways they’re changing the world.

She’s a bi, Metis, highly sensitive, white-passing mother and grandmother who is working toward the adoption of they/them pronouns and equity for all.

Anna was born with a deep fascination for letters - a fascination that deepened when she discovered those letters could turn into words, those words into sentences and those sentences into stories. Not surprisingly, Anna graduated from The University of Victoria, with a Degree in both English and Gender Studies, fuelling her eventual mission to put the power of words back into the hands of women.

Despite multiple other certifications along the way, including one with world-renowned author and personal transformation pioneer, Deepak Chopra, it was ultimately her personal battle with post-traumatic stress, depression and anxiety that became the catalyst for the work she does now, as she helps pave the way for others to live with vulnerability and courage whether they are online, offline or on stage.
