Hello there, Modern Man. I'm Dr Anne Truong. I've treated over

Speaker:

7000 men. What if I tell you there is a machine that can do

Speaker:

your Kegel for you? Yes, I'm excited to talk to you about

Speaker:

this, because, as we know, you know, I'm a big proponent of you

Speaker:

doing your Kegel exercises, which are contracting the

Speaker:

muscles that are in this area between underneath your scrotum

Speaker:

and your anus called underneath the tape. Those are two muscles

Speaker:

there that wrap onto the base of the penis to keep the blood in

Speaker:

the penis, to continue to keep the blood in there to facilitate

Speaker:

an erection. Because if those muscles are weak, it's not going

Speaker:

to be able to trap the muscle in there to maintain a rigid

Speaker:

erection. So you need your pelvic muscle in order to have a

Speaker:

good erection that is functional, that is rigid, that

Speaker:

is hard.

Speaker:

So most men have either weak pelvic muscles or very, very

Speaker:

tight pelvic muscles. And after treating 7000 men, I realized

Speaker:

asking men to do Kegel is kind of hard, because studies have

Speaker:

shown that 25% of people actually do Kegel correctly.

Speaker:

Because what I do this when I see patient in my office, I

Speaker:

train them on Kegel exercises, but oftentimes they do it

Speaker:

correctly because they're tightening the buttock and

Speaker:

they're tightening the abdominal muscles and they're contracting

Speaker:

too much. Kegel is just enough for you to see, feel the

Speaker:

contraction in the pelvic muscles, and also see the penis

Speaker:

base kind of coming in a little bit. So that's how you know

Speaker:

you're doing it right. But most people do it right. Only 25% of

Speaker:

people do it correctly, and that those that go to physical

Speaker:

therapy for pelvic exercises only complete 13%. I myself, I'm

Speaker:

a physician, and I teach Kegel, and I find that I do Kegel

Speaker:

incorrectly when I first have urinary stress and continent.

Speaker:

And I went to PT to have the physical therapist help me, but

Speaker:

then I ended up only doing half of the stuff of the sessions I

Speaker:

was supposed to do because I couldn't attend all the

Speaker:

sessions. So I realized that we get busy and we can't do the

Speaker:

exercises as we should daily. So I'm excited to tell you about

Speaker:

the new machine that will actually do the Kegel

contraction for you. How good is that? Right?

Speaker:

And I have to be realistic, we have busy life, and to do it

Speaker:

effectively, you need to do the exercises about five times a

Speaker:

week and to be at least six to eight weeks. So there's a

Speaker:

machine that Kegel contraction that, let me show that for you

Speaker:

right here. And so what it does, it has these pads that goes on

Speaker:

the area right here, underneath the scrotum, to here, and it

Speaker:

will contract the muscle. Now we're taking this technology,

Speaker:

and machine that is used most for women, but it's used for

Speaker:

women urinary stress incontinence. But the same

Speaker:

theory applies to men as well. It is contracting the muscles

Speaker:

that are, you can see the muscles is the the red area on

Speaker:

this picture, is contracting the muscles, the pelvic muscles. So

Speaker:

men have pelvic muscle down here, like women. But for men,

Speaker:

most of the time it is tight or weak. So for women, when it's

Speaker:

weak, they have they leak urine every time they laugh or cough.

Speaker:

Well, this machine here has this gel pad, that you can see right

Speaker:

here that is blue, that sends out signals like a specialized

Speaker:

therapeutic signals, which are like electrical stimulation,

Speaker:

that stimulate your muscle to contract for six seconds, and

Speaker:

then it rests for 6 seconds and it contracts again. So it is

Speaker:

placed on, right on the pelvic area here, as you can see, right

Speaker:

between underneath the scrotum and above the anus. And it

Speaker:

contracts the muscle for you. And oftentimes the contraction

Speaker:

is even more than what you can do on your own. How good is

Speaker:

that? You don't have to do it yourself. It does it for you,

Speaker:

and then target the muscles in the correct area for you. And

Speaker:

oftentimes it does it stronger than you can do yourself. And

Speaker:

what I like to you to do with this is to do this along with

Speaker:

breathing. So anytime you feel contract, you should breathe in,

Speaker:

and when it relaxes, you breathe out. So it's FDA approved for

Speaker:

urinary stress incontinent, and for men, it's almost the same

Speaker:

condition. It relaxes the bladder. It is safe. It can even

Speaker:

be effective for even BPH as well for bringing more blood

Speaker:

flow to the area, because the prostate is right underneath

Speaker:

this perineal area right in here.

Speaker:

And the main thing is that most men and women do it wrong, and

Speaker:

you do the Kegel exercises wrong. So even though I know

Speaker:

it's good for you to do it, but if you do it wrong, it just does

Speaker:

not work. And I myself have done it wrong until I learned how to

Speaker:

do it. And I myself use this machine also to help me with my

Speaker:

urinary stress incontinent. And I now prescribe this for every

Speaker:

one of my patients to use every day. So it's recommended that

Speaker:

you use this electrical stimulation device five to six

Speaker:

times a week for six to eight weeks, and it just the duration

Speaker:

of the treatment is 20 minutes. And you do it together with the

Speaker:

penis pump. The penis pump exercises the penis. The

Speaker:

neuromuscular electrical stimulation machine exercises

Speaker:

the pelvic muscles for the Kegel. So that way it is

Speaker:

synergistically work together. Then on top of that, you do

Speaker:

testicle massage to the testicles, which will kind of

Speaker:

work the whole entire region here, and it all complements

Speaker:

each other, right? And so you can get this neuromuscular

Speaker:

and you're done. Or you can even do your penis pump exercises

20 minutes. You can certainly do it for 20 minutes with minutes

with the penis pump, with being in the cylinder for 10 minutes

at a time, where you pump for 10 minutes and leave it and

deflate, and then do it again for another 10 minutes. But I'm
