Thank you for joining us for our five days per week wisdom and legacy building podcast. This is Day 912 of our trek, and it is time for a 3-minute mini-trek called Humor Unplugged. Our Thursday podcast will provide a short and clean funny story to help you lighten up and live a rich and satisfying life – something to cheer you and provide a bit a levity in your life.

Beauty Is Only Skin Deep
Little Jimmy watched, fascinated, as his mother gently massaged cold cream on her face.
“Why are you rubbing that on your face, Momma?” he asked.
“To make myself beautiful,” said his mother.
He watched with interest as Momma diligently applied the cream until her entire face was covered, even down on her neck. Momma sat there reading a book and chatting with little Jimmy. After about 20 minutes she began removing the cream with a tissue. This surprised Jimmy.
“What’s the matter?” Jimmy asked his momma. “Are you giving up?”

Today’s Thursday Thought is “Don’t ever give up on being a beautiful person.”
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
Reward her for all she has done.
Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.
