• God designed us to have emotions
• We weren’t really designed for death in God’s original design

You grieve much because you loved much

• Grief is a reminder of the great love you had
• Seeing others grieve and mourn teaches us to cherish the relationships we have

Life isn’t forever in this stage

• You can amass fortune and fame, but we don’t live forever
• Eternal life is something we wouldn’t think of without the reality of death
