Geomancy has been used since ancient times to help us find the most auspicious, healthy places to live and to create a greater sense of place and community. During the program Bruce and Richard have a very interesting dialogue which invites the listeners to learn the pragmatic uses for Geomancy.

For example: you are already practicing Geomancy when you pick out a place to sit in a restaurant — or have a “special place” in that restaurant — or someone is sitting in your “spot” and you feel uneasy for a moment and decide to wait until your “regular” seat is open — so says Anderson.

Richard tells Bruce that when we hire an architect to build a house or building we are using the elements of Geomancy in order to fit the structure on the grounds — facing the building in a particular direction. Anderson says it would be really good to understand what we are doing because the positioning affects us and all of the people who use the building for the duration and life of the building. Even animals — like your cat or dog are always changing where they sit or sleep during the day according to natural unseen forces that are around us all the time.
