Tara Bryan:

Hey everybody, it's Tara Bryan and you are listening to the

2

:

Course Building Secrets Podcast.

3

:

Whether you're a coach or a CEO,

the success of your team and clients

4

:

is based on your ability to deliver

a consistent experience and guide

5

:

them on the fastest path to results.

6

:

This podcast will give you practical,

real life tips that you can use today

7

:

to build your online experiences, that

get results and create raving fans.

8

:

Why?

9

:

So you can monetize your expertise

and serve more people without adding

10

:

more time or team to your business.

11

:

If you're looking to uncover

your million dollar framework,

12

:

package it and use it to scale.

13

:

You're in the right place.

14

:

Let's dive in.

15

:

I'm just going to say it.

16

:

You cannot sell your way

out of a bad business model.

17

:

Hey everybody, in this episode of the

podcast we're going to talk about what

18

:

to do instead because, again, you cannot

sell yourself out of a bad business model.

19

:

So here's my question for you.

20

:

Like how many of you feel like you're sort

of stuck in the cycle of either making one

21

:

time sales fulfilling, maybe that customer

doesn't stay, maybe they're not showing

22

:

up, to like, it becomes a sort of chaotic,

like how do you get them to pay attention?

23

:

Into a sustainable growth type

business where customers stay, they

24

:

participate, and they show up over

and over and over again for any

25

:

offer that you put in front of them.

26

:

Often we find ourselves in this

cycle of more, customers and more

27

:

fulfillment and more customers and more

fulfillment, and it turns into this

28

:

sort of time sucking chaotic business.

29

:

And so before you go out and sell more,

let's talk about how we can look at

30

:

a better way to take the people that

you have in your world and create

31

:

a sustainable, scalable system that

allows them to flourish in your world.

32

:

So that when you bring that sale in

you can fulfill on your promise over

33

:

and over and over again with ease

without it taking up more of your time.

34

:

So let's dive into how do we do that?

35

:

Like what does that look like?

36

:

And that's where the INFINITE

SCALE™ Method comes into play.

37

:

So you've heard me talk about INFINITE

SCALE™ in the past but one of the things

38

:

I really want to talk about is going

from that sort of one time sale to really

39

:

thinking about how do you build a business

that allows you to grow and scale, without

40

:

it taking up all your time, without

sort of going through that period of, of

41

:

sort of like expansion only to implode

because you don't have the right system

42

:

set up to support your customers, or

you don't have a specific framework that

43

:

helps them get from point A to point B.

44

:

And so when they come in, It's, it's

a little bit of a chaotic mess, right?

45

:

You're just constantly trying to do

things to get them to engage, to get

46

:

them to get the results that you've

promised, instead of creating a really

47

:

nice, simple, streamlined path for

them to follow so that they become

48

:

customers and stay customers for life.

49

:

And and so when I'm helping my

customers kind of go through this

50

:

process of really understanding

What's happening in their business?

51

:

Most often, people come to me and

they're either like super burnt out

52

:

because they're maxed out with time that

they're spending with their customers

53

:

or they're, they're maxed out by like

trying to figure out how to get the

54

:

machine moving so that they can serve

the customers that they bring in,

55

:

without all the crazy of all the things.

56

:

Like name it.

57

:

I'm sure if you are in this world,

you know what I'm talking about.

58

:

But it's sort of like, you know,

your business is put together with

59

:

duct tape and paperclips, and you

just hope that nobody notices.

60

:

Yeah.

61

:

That kind of business.

62

:

A lot of times that's what happens,

especially when you are growing

63

:

quickly and you've unlocked the,

that sort of, the challenge of how

64

:

do you bring customers in, right?

65

:

You're able to attract them, you're

able to convert them, but then you

66

:

have to deliver on the promise.

67

:

And that's where things

start to break down.

68

:

There's a lot of people out

there who are giving advice on

69

:

how to make that happen, right?

70

:

Just build an 80 percent solution.

71

:

Just, you know, put a bunch

of stuff together and throw

72

:

it into membership site.

73

:

You know, countless different things,

hire a lot of people to help fulfill.

74

:

And so eventually you get to that

place where you either want to burn

75

:

it to the ground, you want to keep

going but you're exhausted, or you

76

:

have to stop and look at how to do

things a little bit differently so that

77

:

you can continue to grow and scale.

78

:

There's never a time where you can

just automatically, build something

79

:

and then grow and scale it without

really looking at the systems that

80

:

are in place and making sure that

you have the right pieces together.

81

:

That's when we start looking

at the INFINITE SCALE™ Method.

82

:

Now, once you get kind of in the right

business model, you're not trading

83

:

your time for money anymore, you're

not doing one on one services, you're

84

:

not doing custom or ad hoc services

or creating products because somebody

85

:

has asked for one, like you're really

taking a strategic approach to how

86

:

you're growing and scaling your business.

87

:

Once you're in the right model, which

is, that scalable model that allows

88

:

you to build something and then be able

to deliver it over and over and over

89

:

again without it taking up your time,

you've been able to separate your hours

90

:

from your dollars, then you can move to

like finding your framework and to me

91

:

that is the most foundational piece of

building a business that's scalable and

92

:

sustainable is finding your framework.

93

:

Finding your authority model and

methodology that packages your expertise

94

:

and what you're like best in the world

at, packages that into a step by step

95

:

path that provides the solution that

your ideal customer has to the problem

96

:

that they're actively trying to solve.

97

:

Okay.

98

:

So I said a lot in there that

is really meaningful in terms of

99

:

like, how do you put this together?

100

:

So let me just unpack it just a little

bit because it will serve you as you're

101

:

starting to look at like, how do you

take all of the things and start to

102

:

build something that actually will

grow and scale with you and with your

103

:

customers so you can keep them for

life without losing your mind, right?

104

:

So the first thing is identify what your

expertise is and what you're brilliant at.

105

:

A lot of times we, we come at

helping our customers with whatever

106

:

it is that they need, right?

107

:

Like I can help them on anything.

108

:

And and that's probably true.

109

:

You're probably very good at a lot

of different things, but what you

110

:

need to do is determine like, what

is it that is your unique ability?

111

:

What is the thing that you are best in

the world at helping your customers with?

112

:

Usually if you are not sure,

usually it is kind of something

113

:

that comes super, super easy to you

when you are helping your people.

114

:

So determine that expertise,

like pick one place to focus.

115

:

And again, like the kind of the easiest

thing, which is counterproductive for most

116

:

of us because we think it has to be hard.

117

:

It doesn't, it just is the thing.

118

:

And then.

119

:

You are going to identify who the

perfect person is for that thing, who

120

:

is the person that you can help in the

best way that matches your expertise?

121

:

And so it's really like, what is

what, who is it out there that has the

122

:

problem that your solution will solve?

123

:

And then, what is it

that they want you to do?

124

:

To solve, like what is the

result that they're going to get?

125

:

So they have a problem that

they're actively trying to solve.

126

:

And then they're driving towards

like, I want to solve the problem.

127

:

Once I solve the problem, this is

the result that I'm going to get

128

:

because I've solved this problem.

129

:

And then your expertise

fits in the middle.

130

:

Your expertise is the bridge

that someone needs to go from

131

:

the problem to that solution.

132

:

And that's all it is.

133

:

It's the steps that somebody

is going to take on that bridge

134

:

to go from point A to point B.

135

:

And the more you can define that, the

more specifically you can define that

136

:

in terms of the steps that they need

to take, the easier it is for you and

137

:

the easier it is for your customer to

be able to get to the outcome that they

138

:

desire in the fastest way possible,

which really becomes the foundation

139

:

for the business that you're creating.

140

:

It is really your ability to fast track

the solution from the problem to the

141

:

result that your ideal person has.

142

:

That is foundational.

143

:

Then what, what the beauty of this is,

is once you have found your framework,

144

:

once you've identified that proprietary

methodology that's just yours again,

145

:

the steps along that path, then you can

deliver that in an infinite amount of

146

:

ways to an infinite amount of people

at an infinitely available time.

147

:

And so that is the beauty of what happens

is that like you can start on you know,

148

:

kind of the ground floor of you found

your framework, now how do you want

149

:

to help somebody actually go through

an experience that provides them the

150

:

solution to where they're trying to go.

151

:

And that's where like, then you can

deliver it a million different ways

152

:

depending on how you want to show up,

depending upon like the best experience

153

:

that you can create for your people.

154

:

But the key is having that

foundational framework that's

155

:

consistent, that's predictable,

that allows somebody to know exactly

156

:

how to get from point A to point B.

157

:

Imagine if you were going from, I'm in

Minneapolis, so from Minneapolis to New

158

:

York, and you didn't have Google Maps, and

you didn't even have a paper map, you were

159

:

just like, I'm just gonna go east, right?

160

:

And, eventually I'm going to hit

New York because I'm going east.

161

:

And and that's great.

162

:

Like you could do that, right?

163

:

And that's kind of how your

customers feel is they're like,

164

:

well, okay, so I know that there's

a, a result that I'm looking for.

165

:

So I'm just going to go east.

166

:

I'm just going to go watch videos.

167

:

I'm going to go out and

take a bunch of courses.

168

:

I'm going to go download a bunch of

stuff and and I'm going to go east

169

:

and I'm going to get to the results.

170

:

And it's like, that's great, but

how, how fast are they going to

171

:

get, be able to get there, right?

172

:

How clear is the path going to be?

173

:

Or are they going to wind around?

174

:

They're going to end up in dead ends.

175

:

If you're me and using Google Maps,

I end up on dirt roads all the

176

:

time, like in the middle of nowhere.

177

:

I'm not sure what's wrong with

my Google, but that's a whole

178

:

different conversation, right?

179

:

But I want a map to go from

Minneapolis to New York, so I end

180

:

up going on the right highways.

181

:

I don't end up in a dead end.

182

:

I don't end up lost on a dark road

in the middle of the night, right?

183

:

Like, I want to plan the

fastest way to get from where

184

:

I am today to where I'm going.

185

:

And that's exactly what your

framework provides to your customers.

186

:

And here's what, what starts to happen is

they have so much clarity and confidence

187

:

in your solution because they can see that

direct path that they stay forever because

188

:

they want you to continue to work with

them so that they can get to that next

189

:

level of success that they're looking for.

190

:

And that's really your goal is to create

a business that allows you to grow

191

:

exponentially and keep the customers

that you bring into your world.

192

:

It is so much more expensive to to

continuously acquire new customers,

193

:

burn them out, get them out of your

infrastructure and your ecosystem

194

:

as fast as possible, right?

195

:

And then just keep churning new customers

versus getting a customer, taking them

196

:

on a A strategic journey from point A to

point B and then to C and D and E, right?

197

:

That taking them down that

journey that allows them to

198

:

just stay in your world forever.

199

:

People don't want to expend extra

calories trying to figure out what to do.

200

:

People don't want to always go to

different people to find out the answers.

201

:

They want to go to someone they

trust, someone who is organized

202

:

and has a methodology that can

help them, and an experience that

203

:

they love to be a part of, right?

204

:

So help them stay in your world by

creating a couple foundational things.

205

:

One is that framework.

206

:

The next thing is map

out the customer journey.

207

:

You should know each and every step

and milestone and obstacle and hurdle

208

:

that your customers are going down

as they're a part of your world.

209

:

And when you create that map, then you're

able to know exactly where every single

210

:

one of your customers is and how to help

support them in the best way possible.

211

:

So instead of like constantly creating

new things, constantly showing up,

212

:

having conversations, hoping that

that your customer is going to get

213

:

something out of it, you are showing

up at the right times, that allow

214

:

them to continue moving forward.

215

:

Which incidentally is much easier than

trying to recreate the wheel every

216

:

single time that you're doing something.

217

:

So it simplifies the entire

your entire organization.

218

:

And so as you're mapping that

out, that is, it's the framework,

219

:

it's the customer journey.

220

:

And then, there are so many tools and

systems that will help support you

221

:

along that, the customer's journey that,

you know, probably 80 percent of what

222

:

you're doing can be automated, once you

step out of the hub of doing all of the

223

:

things, when you let the system that

you've built be the hub, it changes the

224

:

way that people will interact with your

framework, with the customer experience,

225

:

and with you as the coach who's leading

them through the challenge they have

226

:

to the solution they're looking for.

227

:

And so when you step into that ability

to offer a seamless experience for

228

:

your customers, they not only will stay

for life, but they will continue to

229

:

participate and show up and eventually

become your biggest ambassadors and

230

:

maybe end up becoming your certified

partners as they start to build their

231

:

business around maybe some of the things

that you are offering to them as they

232

:

get more enmeshed in what you're what

you're giving them as they move forward.

233

:

I have a client right now who has

literally hired one of their like,

234

:

long term members because they've

gotten so much success working with

235

:

this framework that, that, that my

client has put together that they now

236

:

want to use it to help coach others.

237

:

And they want to use it in their

business to help their own customers.

238

:

And so the sky's the limit once you start

to look at creating your business from

239

:

a fundamental framework instead of just

grabbing, you know, random offers here and

240

:

there based on, you know, different needs

that you're seeing out in the marketplace.

241

:

It's a completely different approach

to taking your business, making it into

242

:

something that's scalable and sustainable

so that you're consistently growing with

243

:

ease without maxing out your calendar.

244

:

All right, so that is today's episode.

245

:

Hopefully you got some nuggets

out of that and you're thinking,

246

:

okay, what is my framework?

247

:

Like one of the things I challenge

you on is like, what is one of the

248

:

first steps that you do with every

single customer that you have?

249

:

Right?

250

:

That's probably step one or somewhere

in the beginning of the journey

251

:

that you're taking someone down.

252

:

Start to see if you could put some

parameters around creating a framework.

253

:

Do you have steps that you're

taking all of your customers down?

254

:

Are there, you know, specific sort of

milestones that they're going to take.

255

:

Maybe you have different levels.

256

:

Level one is when people come in and

it's the basics and the foundations

257

:

and then you move to level two

and then you move to level three.

258

:

Start to see if you could put some, some

structure around how you're delivering

259

:

your services or your program or

whatever it is that you're doing and

260

:

and start to just put a little bit of

structure around it and see what happens.

261

:

You may have a framework that is already

built and it's already something that

262

:

you're using, you just haven't packaged

it into something that can be a tangible

263

:

solution for people to pick up and grab.

264

:

All right, there you go.

265

:

Hopefully this episode serves you.

266

:

I would love to get your feedback on this.

267

:

If you have a framework, you

have a methodology let me know.

268

:

Reach out in the show notes, should

be my, my contact information.

269

:

Reach out.

270

:

I would love to hear

what your methodology is.

271

:

If it's visual, that's even better.

272

:

And if you are in a place where

you're like, hmm, this is interesting,

273

:

like this could really change my

business today from kind of being

274

:

that chaotic hot mess express, right?

275

:

Put together with duct

tape and paperclips.

276

:

I see you, right?

277

:

If that's your business today

and you're like, hmm, I wonder

278

:

if a framework could help me.

279

:

I wonder if there's a different way I

could be approaching the work that I

280

:

do to help me not feel so maxed out,

not feel burnt out, and not feel like

281

:

I'm kind of constantly on a hamster

wheel of chaos, reach out to me.

282

:

Again, I would love to talk to you.

283

:

You could set up a free call with me.

284

:

We'll have a little conversation of where

you are and would love to help you out.

285

:

So again, definitely go ahead

and use those resources.
