Speaker:

Some people are so good at public speaking that it feels

Speaker:

out of reach to achieve the same.

Speaker:

Their confidence, their eloquence, their whole appearance, everything

Speaker:

feels so elaborate that they appear to be from a different breed.

Speaker:

Perhaps they're natural born talents or something.

Speaker:

They are not, of course.

Speaker:

Almost any great speaker is great at what they do because they've

Speaker:

done it so many times before.

Speaker:

They became good at speaking.

Speaker:

Through speaking.

Speaker:

Their first speech wasn't their best speech.

Speaker:

Their first response to an audience remark wasn't the most quick-witted remark.

Speaker:

And it's hard to believe that their first appearance was on a big stage.

Speaker:

They started somewhere.

Speaker:

Let's say in a meeting or at a company event.

Speaker:

Or they recorded a video that no one watched.

Speaker:

But most of all, they started.

Speaker:

And kept at it.

Speaker:

And recorded a second one.

Speaker:

And a third.

Speaker:

When they were at a hundred, they were getting good.

Speaker:

It's not about whether you have it within you, which I think

Speaker:

you have, it's about starting.

Speaker:

And that's always within reach.
