Speaker:

Today's tactical advice is for when you get lobbed at the net.

Speaker:

You've heard before to switch at the net

Speaker:

and allow your partner to run down the lob

Speaker:

and keep the point going.

Speaker:

What often happens is you as the partner

Speaker:

either get hit in the face

Speaker:

if your opponent decides to come in and hit an overhead

Speaker:

or your opponent just keeps lobbing you

Speaker:

and your partner has to run back and forth.

Speaker:

Instead, when you get lobbed at the net,

Speaker:

run back to the opposite baseline of your partner

Speaker:

and play two back.

Speaker:

This allows your partner to have more room for error

Speaker:

and any overhead that your opponent might hit,

Speaker:

you'll be able to defend against as a team

Speaker:

instead of your partner having to do all the work.

Speaker:

Let me know how this goes in your next match.
