In this episode, we talk about handling our actions and thought with regard to things that are negative, or didn’t go the way we expected or wanted. Every person has things every day that are hard, unpleasant or somehow different than they want or intend. If that is the focus it can take over your life.
Rumination is particularly damaging. Spending a lot of time fussing about what should have happened is never productive. If something needs fixing, then do it or say it. Frustration or anger is another form. You choose your own frustration and anger. Learning to deal with that gives a clear view of alternatives. Others may be frustrated or angry. You cannot control them. Love and patience are magic.
