In this episode, we talk about a completely different use of language. Bold or outrageous language can motivate action. History is full of examples both admirable and horrifying where the language was used to galvanize action and move a group to create something. The Gettysburg address is one example.
Just 275 words. It is considered by some to be the greatest speech ever written. We each can use language to motivate and inspire our own lives. In creating a Personal Truth statement I use bold and declarative language that might seem outrageous. It is powerful and motivating. That is the purpose. If we are going to effectively use the power of the language we need skills to explain and to motivate.
