A shiur on Likutey Moharan Torah 4, given in the Heichal HaTorah in Uman during the last 48 hours before Rosh Hashanah 5787, by Nachman Frid.

In Rebbe Nachman's time, his chassidim came to him before Rosh Hashanah for vidui devarim, and people called them "viduinikes." To an outsider it can sound like confession, but the Rebbe explains how it works, and it's something entirely different.

1. Re'iyas pnei hatzaddik: the tzaddik is our mother, a place of unconditional love, and breaks the ta'avos
2. Nesinas tzedakah latzaddik: removes ga'avah and devarim beteilim
3. Vidui devarim: brings everything back to its source and shows us our direction in life

• A friend who hadn't kept Shabbos in three years and still came to Uman: "I'm angry at God, but the Rebbe is love"
• Why the Yom HaDin is a day of simchah in Breslov
