After just returning from a rejuvenating trip to the Last Frontier, Todd and Wendie gush about the Japanese relaxation technique they learned that healed their mind, body and spirit.
Shinrin-Yoku was coined in Japan in the 1980's and is known as forest bathing. It involves immersing yourself in the draping of nature as you walk through the forest. Wendie and Todd were very intentional about their hikes in Alaska and talk all about how soothing the experience was for their soul, "it was so healing to be in God's creation."
Japan has been practicing this technique for hundreds of years to help calm a stressed mind and body. Today, you will find out exactly how you can tune in to nature whilst using all 5 senses to completely dissolve into serenity.
