This week on Meet Me on Main Street, we’re traveling back to 2016 and putting Walt Disney World head-to-head with the Disney World we know in 2026.
A LOT has changed in ten years.
In 2016, there was no Galaxy’s Edge. No Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. No TRON. No Pandora. No Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Instead, we still had things like The Great Movie Ride, FastPass+, and a Disney vacation that felt a little different than it does today.
Fast-forward to 2026 and Disney has built some of the most impressive attractions it has ever created — but we’ve also watched beloved experiences disappear, seen more of the vacation move onto our phones, and watched things that were once included become additional expenses.
So which version of Walt Disney World was actually better?
