Lesson 159: Do Not See Stars where There are Just Fireflies
If you look at them from a weird angle, they might look like stars but fireflies are not stars. Not at all. When we try to convince ourselves that one thing is something else, or we try to sugar coat things, we are just setting ourselves up to fail. It's best to just face it straight up and own it. When you call it what it is, you can quickly do what you need to do to correct things.
PROMPT: When was the last time you sugarcoated an experience? What was the experience? Why did you sugarcoat it?
