Some of us know from an early age that business ownership or entrepreneurship is the path we want to take; for others it can be a pleasant surprise and for this week’s guest, it was a gradual evolution.
Roslyn Clare is a full-time professional photographer, who received her first camera as a gift for her 18th birthday; and was pleasantly surprised when people started offering her money in return for her creative flair. Over the last 10 years she has learned a lot about herself, her industry and being in business; not to mention getting through some incredibly challenging times after her daughter was born premature and with a rare genetic condition.
Roslyn has built a brand on being open, vulnerable and incredibly real; yet at the same time, prides herself on the professionalism and high standards she expects of herself and those who work with her.
In this episode we chat about:
🔸 How not everyone sets out to be a business owner
🔸 How behaving how we THINK we OUGHT to behave is EXHAUSTING and ultimately, fake
🔸 The importance of leaning into our super powers
🔸 The value of jumping and finding our wings on the way down
🔸 How setting boundaries becomes imperative to create professionalism, value, balance and harmony
