GRAND RAPIDS VERSION: [00:00 - 01:00]

Many of you have heard these radio spots daily for years. But how much do you know about RepcoLite as a company? I’m Dan Hansen and this is a Minute at RepcoLite.

Well, to start with, here’s a quick rundown: RepcoLite’s a paint store helping professional contractors and DIYers. That’s easy. We all knew that. With the purchase of Teknicolor Paints in the Metro Detroit area, RepcoLite is now Michigan’s largest Benjamin Moore dealer. That’s pretty cool.

But RepcoLite also makes our own line of high end paint and coatings–everything from road marking paint to industrial finishes to paint for your cabinets. We also make stains and finishes for home projects as well as the furniture industry. On top of that, RepcoLite makes a lot of private labeled materials for companies throughout Michigan and beyond so they can create and finish the products they specialize in.

And we’ve been doing all of that as a family-owned business since 1946. So what does that mean? It means that whoever you are or whatever need you have for paint or coatings, RepcoLite can help. Stop out and see us! I’m Dan Hansen and that’s a Minute at RepcoLite.

DETROIT VERSION: [01:02 - 02:02]

So the Teknicolor Paint stores are now RepcoLite stores. OK. So what in the world is RepcoLite? I’m Dan Hansen and this is a Minute at . . . well, RepcoLite.

Many of you are familiar with Teknicolor paints and if you’re not . . . you should be. Check out their google reviews–they’re great. The service people generally experience at a Teknicolor store is over the top. You can feel confident you’ll get the help you need–whether you’re a professional painter or a DIYer. But now Teknicolor has been purchased by RepcoLite and they are all becoming RepcoLite locations.

What does that mean? Well, first off, all of the staff from Teknicolors are remaining. Also, the Benjamin Moore products you’ve come for are still there. RepcoLite is, in fact, Michigan’s largest Benjamin Moore retailer, so the Benny Moore paints and primers aren’t going in anywhere.

But what is RepcoLite? Well, to start with, RepcoLite is a family-owned paint company that is based in Holland, Michigan. We’ve been around since 1946 and have been helping professional contractors and DIYers alike for all of that time. That’s a start. But there’s a lot more you should know. And we’ll get to that next time. I’m Dan Hansen and that’s a Minute at RepcoLite.
