Are you a Christian entrepreneur feeling shackled by self-doubt or the fear of selling? Prepare to have your mindset radically transformed. In this candid interview, Nicky Billou, a renowned Iranian-Canadian entrepreneur and top podcast host, pulls no punches as he challenges conventional wisdom and inspires listeners to embrace the ultimate key to success: freedom.
Drawing from his powerful personal journey of escaping tyranny to unlock his true potential, Nicky passionately articulates why freedom is the bedrock of entrepreneurship. Without the liberty to express ourselves freely and chart our own course, he argues, the spirit of enterprise withers. Yet when we operate from a place of freedom, rooted in our faith and values, we unleash our ability to create abundantly and live out our God-given purpose.
At the core of Nicky's message is a paradigm shift in how we view sales – an area where many Christian entrepreneurs stumble. With tough love and refreshing candor, he reframes sales not as a necessary evil, but as an "act of love" – a sacred opportunity to serve those we care about deeply. This mind-shifting perspective invites listeners to confront self-limiting beliefs head-on and embrace discomfort as the catalyst for breakthrough growth.

Speaker:some amazing things, not only like in
Speaker:podcasting, but you're the number one
Speaker:podcast host rated on podmatch. You've
Speaker:done over 600 of these. Like, wow, that's
Speaker:a lot of podcasts in a relatively short
Speaker:period of time. But not only are you a
Speaker:super amazing guest, you're a podcast
Speaker:host, you're a phenomenal entrepreneur,
Speaker:and you also have some programs that you
Speaker:use that other business owners, christian
Speaker:faith based business owners, can partner
Speaker:with you with, where you teach us how to
Speaker:become greater at what we do. So listen,
Speaker:just take a minute. And those that may not
Speaker:know you, please give us a little bit of
Speaker:your backstory. Thank you so much. I
Speaker:greatly appreciate that. So I'm actually
Speaker:originally an immigrant from the Middle
Speaker:east. I'm a Christian from Iran. When I
Speaker:was eleven years old, the islamic
Speaker:revolution took place in Iran. And my mom
Speaker:and dad, right, they could see the writing
Speaker:on the wall. Dad, God rest his soul. You
Speaker:could say, man, this country is changing.
Speaker:This isn't going to be a place to raise a
Speaker:christian family. And so what they did is
Speaker:they made a plan. It took them a while,
Speaker:took them a few years, but they eventually
Speaker:got me and my two brothers out of Iran,
Speaker:and we settled where I now live in
Speaker:Toronto, Canada. So I was eleven when the
Speaker:revolution happened, and I was about 15
Speaker:when we got to Canada. Now, from eleven to
Speaker:15, I didn't want to leave my home. I
Speaker:didn't want to leave my friends. Right,
Speaker:right. I was a kid. But in retrospect, it
Speaker:was the single greatest thing mom and dad
Speaker:could have done for me and my two
Speaker:brothers. Because they took us from a
Speaker:legacy of tyranny. They brought us to a
Speaker:legacy of freedom. I believe, Laquita,
Speaker:inside every human breast beats the living
Speaker:heart of freedom. God Almighty gave us
Speaker:freedom, and we want the right to chart
Speaker:our own course, to march to the tune of
Speaker:our own drummer. Yes, yes. And that
Speaker:informs everything about my worldview.
Speaker:See, you want to be a business owner, you
Speaker:need to have freedom. You need to be a
Speaker:champion for freedom. Without freedom,
Speaker:there can be no free expression. Without
Speaker:free expression, there can be no free
Speaker:enterprise. Free enterprise is the bedrock
Speaker:of entrepreneurship. Yes, it is. Yes, it
Speaker:is. I love the way you brought that. I
Speaker:love the way you brought that out. Without
Speaker:the freedoms that we have, not only in
Speaker:North America, but, you know, in other
Speaker:nations as well, and especially in western
Speaker:nations, without the freedoms that we
Speaker:have, we definitely either would not be
Speaker:able to do the things that we can do as
Speaker:entrepreneurs, or it would be extremely,
Speaker:extremely difficult. And I like the fact
Speaker:that you said that that was the bedrock of
Speaker:freedom, is the bedrock of not only who
Speaker:you are, but your ability to effectively
Speaker:practice your faith and your ability to be
Speaker:and do whatever you want to do as an
Speaker:entrepreneur. How that. And I've never
Speaker:heard it put that way. How does one, like,
Speaker:just embrace that? Like, I don't think. I
Speaker:don't think we really understand how
Speaker:valuable freedom is. Well, I'll tell you,
Speaker:if you're a Christian, one of the best
Speaker:things you can do is go watch some of the
Speaker:great speeches delivered by some great
Speaker:Americans. So in March of 1983, President
Speaker:Ronald Reagan delivered a speech to the
Speaker:National association of Evangelicals. It's
Speaker:his famous evil empire speech, in which he
Speaker:called the Soviet Union an evil empire.
Speaker:Right. And I'll tell you, he got a lot of
Speaker:flack for it back then, but every
Speaker:Christian in that audience knew that he
Speaker:was right, that believing in God was the
Speaker:bedrock of America's philosophy. And the
Speaker:bedrock of America's philosophy comes from
Speaker:freedom. Freedom. So I highly recommend
Speaker:that you go and get on YouTube and type in
Speaker:Ronald Reagan evil empire speech, National
Speaker:association of Evangelicals, and go watch
Speaker:that speech from beginning to end because
Speaker:he'll articulate for you more powerfully
Speaker:than anybody could, the importance of
Speaker:freedom, the importance of faith in God to
Speaker:living a great moral, amazing life.
Speaker:Another great speech, Doctor Martin Luther
Speaker:King's I have a dream speech. That speech
Speaker:is laden with faith in the almighty, with
Speaker:belief in God. And freedom is the basis of
Speaker:Doctor King's speech. People don't know.
Speaker:Doctor King was some, was some kind of
Speaker:like modern lefty. Doctor King was a
Speaker:pastor, Doctor kingdom, Doctor King was a
Speaker:republican. People forget that. I mean,
Speaker:you know, facts. No, it's easy. I mean,
Speaker:crazy, crazy. These are two super powerful
Speaker:speeches that every, every freedom loving
Speaker:Christian ought to listen to. They will
Speaker:awaken your faith, your belief in God, and
Speaker:awaken your faith in your belief in
Speaker:yourself as a child of God and your
Speaker:ability to live a life less ordinary. Yes,
Speaker:I love that. So guys, I hope that you
Speaker:wrote that down. That was several amazing
Speaker:points that Nikki has brought out so far.
Speaker:But those two videos, YouTube is your
Speaker:friend. The famous I have a dream speech
Speaker:by Doctor Martin Luther King. You should
Speaker:be able to just start typing that and it
Speaker:auto populates and take you to any number
Speaker:of video clips, if not the entire speech
Speaker:in itself. And then the other one is
Speaker:former President Ronald Reagan. His speech
Speaker:to the evangelicals. And what year was
Speaker:that again? 1983. It's the evil empire
Speaker:speech. If you type that in, that'll auto
Speaker:populate for you as well. It'll auto
Speaker:populate as well. So listen, take those
Speaker:two tools, put them in your tool bag, take
Speaker:a moment later, go and check those
Speaker:speeches out because the more that we
Speaker:learn, the more that we grow and the more
Speaker:we're empowered to do the things that God
Speaker:has called us to do. Amen. And so with
Speaker:freedom being the necessary bedrock for us
Speaker:to be able to bc and do all that God has
Speaker:called us to do personally, professionally
Speaker:and all the things that we'll do while
Speaker:we're yet walking this earth, one of the
Speaker:things that I noticed here is that you
Speaker:said that freedom is also important for
Speaker:free enterprise and you talked about that
Speaker:just a little bit. Would you like to
Speaker:expound on that even more? Because
Speaker:sometimes I feel like whether it's
Speaker:capitalism, we could say capitalism, free
Speaker:enterprise, entrepreneurship, a lot of
Speaker:times that, you know, we're under attack.
Speaker:People want more, people want greater, but
Speaker:then don't fully grasp or understand the
Speaker:value of free enterprise. And we think we
Speaker:wanted to leave, but we really don't. Can
Speaker:you talk to us a little bit about that?
Speaker:Look, the only way for everybody to have
Speaker:prosperity is if prosperity is growing.
Speaker:And the only way prosperity can grow is
Speaker:through free enterprise. Free enterprise
Speaker:is really the voluntary exchange of goods
Speaker:and services. Nobody's forcing you to do
Speaker:anything. That's what free enterprise is.
Speaker:And the evil, godless charlatans on the
Speaker:left want to try to make you think this is
Speaker:the devil. No, they are the devil, because
Speaker:what they want to do is they want to force
Speaker:you to follow their path. They think they
Speaker:know best and they want to pass laws
Speaker:that'll throw you in jail, that'll take
Speaker:away what you own in order for them to
Speaker:control you. If you don't have freedom, if
Speaker:someone else is controlling what you can
Speaker:do, what you can say, what you can think,
Speaker:you'll never be able to build a business,
Speaker:ever. Come on. Yeah, that's real good.
Speaker:That's real good. That's real good.
Speaker:Because as long as I have a freedom, then
Speaker:I have the ability to create whatever type
Speaker:of business I want, right? If I want to
Speaker:sell polka dotted pajamas on eBay, on
Speaker:Wednesdays and Fridays only, I should have
Speaker:that, right, to sell polka dotted pajamas
Speaker:on eBay and only on those specific days.
Speaker:But when we reduce our freedoms, when we
Speaker:allow laws to be enacted that, that are
Speaker:designed to siphon away our freedoms, then
Speaker:we do heavily put ourselves at risk for no
Speaker:longer being able to have that type of
Speaker:control over our life. How I earn my
Speaker:income, where I earn my income, from, what
Speaker:I do with my income, free enterprises, is
Speaker:absolutely necessary. I know in our
Speaker:entrepreneur space, we talk a lot about
Speaker:marketing, branding and all of those
Speaker:things, but I don't think that we fully
Speaker:realize that the backbone of that, first
Speaker:and foremost, before I can think about
Speaker:building my personal brand, I have to make
Speaker:sure that I have the freedom to do that.
Speaker:Amen. Amen. Right. And as believers, it's
Speaker:even. I'll say that it's even more so
Speaker:important for us because oftentimes I
Speaker:found that I'm not sure about you. I found
Speaker:that the exercising of my faith in certain
Speaker:situations, or me being unapologetic about
Speaker:my faith in certain situations does have
Speaker:the tendency to maybe kind of slow down
Speaker:my, my ability to push my business
Speaker:forward. So, um, what would you say to
Speaker:christians who may be experiencing that or
Speaker:they're afraid to even say I'm a
Speaker:Christian. When I'm trying to create or
Speaker:push my personal brand forward. God
Speaker:intends for you to be abundant and rich.
Speaker:It's a lie that God wants you to be poor
Speaker:to prove your piety. It's a lie. Yeah,
Speaker:it's a lie. Okay. Reverend Catherine
Speaker:Ponder, she's still alive. God, God bless
Speaker:her. She's 96 years old. She wrote a
Speaker:series of books called the Millionaires of
Speaker:the Bible. Right. One of them was the
Speaker:millionaire from Nazareth, the millionaire
Speaker:Moses, the millionaire Joseph, are
Speaker:biblical heroes, are biblical teachers.
Speaker:We're all wealthy, wealthy, wealthy men.
Speaker:God intended for every man, every woman to
Speaker:enjoy the abundant blessings of the earth.
Speaker:And for you not to understand that, to buy
Speaker:the lie of the evil left that has been
Speaker:attempting to suborn and subvert
Speaker:Christianity is what is causing you to
Speaker:live a life that you're not happy with.
Speaker:Because God, look at everything. You go to
Speaker:an apple tree, there are hundreds of
Speaker:apples on it. Yes, it is. You cut open a
Speaker:pomegranate. There are thousands of seeds
Speaker:in the pomegranate. Absolutely right. When
Speaker:God intends a man and a woman to come
Speaker:together to make a baby, there are
Speaker:millions of sperm and hundreds of eggs.
Speaker:God has stacked the odds in your favor
Speaker:everywhere. Why do you insist, insist on
Speaker:saying he's wrong and you're right. Come
Speaker:on now. Great question. Great question
Speaker:indeed. He has stacked the odds in our
Speaker:favor. Everything that he has is ours.
Speaker:We're entitled to what we've inherited
Speaker:because we received and believed and
Speaker:called on his name. And so why should not,
Speaker:why shouldn't we, why shouldn't we walk in
Speaker:that? Why shouldn't we have that? I
Speaker:oftentimes when I'm, when I'm talking to
Speaker:different entrepreneurs or women as an
Speaker:example within the christian faith, we
Speaker:love to use the example of the proverbs 31
Speaker:woman as the perfect kind of wife. And in
Speaker:those, in some situations where, you know,
Speaker:women feel like they can't or don't, or
Speaker:even where you're saying, well, you know,
Speaker:we're just going to be humble. We're going
Speaker:to, you know, be settled for less than,
Speaker:and this is all of these things, and
Speaker:thinking to myself, that's not at all what
Speaker:the proper 31 woman did. She was wealthy.
Speaker:And it wasn't that she was just wealthy
Speaker:because of what her husband did for a
Speaker:living. He was wealthy, yes, because if he
Speaker:was at the city gates, that that denotes
Speaker:that he was a gentleman of importance. But
Speaker:while he was taking care of his business,
Speaker:she was literally buying real estate,
Speaker:creating a vineyard creating jobs for her
Speaker:local community while yet supporting her
Speaker:children, while yet being supportive of
Speaker:her servants. Like, this lady did
Speaker:everything, and she's, to me, the constant
Speaker:entrepreneur. She was building wealth for
Speaker:her family. She just wasn't at home.
Speaker:Nothing wrong with being at home. Cooking
Speaker:and cleaning. Don't get me wrong, ladies,
Speaker:like, we have to do that. Nothing wrong
Speaker:with that. But she was building wealth,
Speaker:and she was building wealth, and I want to
Speaker:use the word independently. Not that her
Speaker:husband didn't know what was going on, but
Speaker:obviously they had some great
Speaker:communication going on because it wasn't
Speaker:like in the parable of the shoe man woman,
Speaker:where she had to go ask permission to get
Speaker:the chariot to go to find the man of God.
Speaker:The scriptures don't say that. In that
Speaker:particular passage. It said, she saw it,
Speaker:she thought it was good, and she bought
Speaker:it. She figured out it was good to be a
Speaker:vineyard, and that's when she created it.
Speaker:Throughout the course of scripture, there
Speaker:are so many instances where we see men and
Speaker:women of God who were quite wealthy and
Speaker:use their wealth in positive ways to
Speaker:advance the kingdom. And so. And it didn't
Speaker:take away from who they are as a Christian
Speaker:at that time, who they were as jewish men
Speaker:and women. It didn't take away from that
Speaker:at all. It was, you know, value added to
Speaker:that. And so as, as. As we're talking to a
Speaker:predominantly, uh, christian audience,
Speaker:what, um. What tip would you give this
Speaker:audience as to what can we do to create
Speaker:great personal brands that don't. Where I
Speaker:don't have to compromise who I am at all?
Speaker:Look, when you're a Christian, okay, you
Speaker:got to understand the rules of success are
Speaker:the same for everybody. There are four
Speaker:qualities everyone needs to embrace in
Speaker:order to be successful. First of all,
Speaker:Laquita, you've got to make a decision
Speaker:that you will be successful. A decision.
Speaker:This doesn't mean I'd like to be. It'd be
Speaker:nice. No, I will be. You must declare it.
Speaker:I am successful. And you make that
Speaker:declaration, there is no turning back.
Speaker:It's like the Greeks back in ancient times
Speaker:when they attacked Troy, they burned the
Speaker:ships behind them. There's no retreat.
Speaker:They had made a decision that we're going
Speaker:to take Troy or they were going to perish.
Speaker:Yeah. So think about that. That's a
Speaker:decision. Business is the same. You must
Speaker:make a decision that you will be
Speaker:successful. You got to commit. That means
Speaker:you got to be willing to be bad at it
Speaker:before you're okay at it, before you're
Speaker:good at it, before you're great at it.
Speaker:It's the only way. Love that. Love that.
Speaker:You got to commit, and you're going to be
Speaker:bad at it for a while. Okay? And then
Speaker:thirdly, you got to hire a coach, and you
Speaker:got to be coachable. The great Robin
Speaker:Sharma said, if you want to double your
Speaker:income in any given year, you got to
Speaker:triple your investment in personal
Speaker:professional development. You need to hire
Speaker:the coaches. You need to join the
Speaker:masterminds. You need to participate in
Speaker:the conferences. You need to do the
Speaker:courses, read the books. Yes, yes. You are
Speaker:the most important investment you're gonna
Speaker:make. You should be putting more money
Speaker:into yourself than anything else in your
Speaker:business. It just makes sense. People
Speaker:understand investing. There's a difference
Speaker:between spending and investing. You spend
Speaker:a $1,000 on a beautiful new coat, you
Speaker:invest $1,000 in coaching for yourself
Speaker:because that money you spent, it's not
Speaker:going to come back. But the $1,000 you
Speaker:invest in yourself will make you $10,000.
Speaker:Yes. Yes. And you shouldn't have to hire a
Speaker:coach. That will force you to compromise
Speaker:your christian values. So you should hire
Speaker:a coach like me, who's somebody who can
Speaker:help you live your christian values while
Speaker:becoming successful. Yeah. And then
Speaker:finally, you've got to be resourceful. You
Speaker:gotta be resourceful. Back in the early
Speaker:two thousand ten s, I was going through a
Speaker:divorce. My then wife, seemingly out of
Speaker:the blue, decides she didn't want to be
Speaker:married to me anymore. I was devastated. I
Speaker:maybe should have seen it coming, but I
Speaker:didn't. A friend of mine took pity on me
Speaker:and bought a ticket for me to attend the
Speaker:conference. I saw a man deliver a speech.
Speaker:It spoke to my heart, to my soul. I walked
Speaker:up to him at the end of the speech, and I
Speaker:said, hey, I think I need to hire you. Let
Speaker:me tell you my story. You listen to my
Speaker:story. At the end of it, he said, okay,
Speaker:you can hire me, but my minimum fee is
Speaker:$5,000. I get paid upfront, in advance, in
Speaker:full, and I offer no guarantees and no
Speaker:refunds. You still want to hire me? I
Speaker:said, oh, my God, I don't have that kind
Speaker:of money. He said, okay, I'll give you
Speaker:some free coaching. I said, wow, that
Speaker:sounds great. Free coaching. He said, it
Speaker:doesn't matter how much money you have. I
Speaker:said, hold up, hold up. You just said, I
Speaker:need to give you $5,000. Of course it
Speaker:matters how much money I have. Of course
Speaker:it matters. He said, no, it doesn't. First
Speaker:of all, you need me. I don't need you. I
Speaker:got 20 people lined up. I don't care
Speaker:whether I get your money or not. I said,
Speaker:okay. He said, it doesn't matter how much
Speaker:money you have. What matters is how bad do
Speaker:you want change? You're sleeping on your
Speaker:mother's couch. Your wife has kicked you
Speaker:out of the house. You can't see your kids.
Speaker:How much longer you want to tolerate this?
Speaker:A day, a week, a year? A lifetime? Whoa.
Speaker:No, no, no. So then that, I told him, I'll
Speaker:come see him in a couple days. I got on
Speaker:the phone, I started calling people. I
Speaker:said, hey, I need, I need, I need, I need,
Speaker:I need, I need some clients. So I called
Speaker:some clients that had not said yes, had
Speaker:not said no. And I said, hey, I got good
Speaker:news for you. They said, what? I was a
Speaker:fitness trainer at that time. I said,
Speaker:you're fat. You need to lose weight. And
Speaker:I'm broke, and I need money so I can see
Speaker:my kids. So I'll give you my coaching
Speaker:program for half price. $1,000.02. Guys
Speaker:said yes. I collected two grand. I told
Speaker:him, you have to pay me upfront in advance
Speaker:or forget it. And in full at $2,000. I was
Speaker:elated. I went to see this man in a couple
Speaker:days, and I gave him the $2,000. I was so
Speaker:excited. He said, this is great, son, but
Speaker:I told you 5000, not 2000. My spirits
Speaker:fellae. And I said to him, bill, his name
Speaker:was. I said, bill, how many people have
Speaker:you told this story to? He said, over the
Speaker:years, 30, maybe 40. I said, wow, that's a
Speaker:lot. He said, yeah, it is a lot. And I
Speaker:said, how many of them besides me ever
Speaker:came back to you with any money? He said,
Speaker:oh, you're the first. I'm like, I'm the
Speaker:first? He says, oh, yeah. I said, then,
Speaker:look, take my $2,000 and I'll sign a
Speaker:contract saying, I'll pay you the rest
Speaker:within 30, 60 days, whatever the case may
Speaker:be. He agreed. The rest is history. Within
Speaker:six months, I made six figures. I paid
Speaker:them off early, and I've never looked
Speaker:back. And the question that I'm going to
Speaker:ask your listener, yeah, you want a
Speaker:personal brand. You want to be successful.
Speaker:How bad do you want change? Yeah, how bad
Speaker:do you want it? It really does boil down
Speaker:to that. We have to be willing to make a
Speaker:decision, and once we've made that
Speaker:decision, we have to be willing to commit
Speaker:to it and not commit to it based on how
Speaker:well we do, but commit to it when I'm bad,
Speaker:when I'm mediocre, when I'm kind of good,
Speaker:and to the place where I'm real good at
Speaker:it. But the commitment is key. And hiring
Speaker:a coach, that is so phenomenal, hiring a
Speaker:coach that is in alignment with my core
Speaker:values and that number one core value
Speaker:being my faith in God. And also hiring a
Speaker:coach, not only that is in line with my
Speaker:core values, but that has the tenacity to
Speaker:motivate me, inspire me, kick me in the
Speaker:butt, whatever term you want to use to
Speaker:keep me moving forward in the direction of
Speaker:my desired result because the coach can't
Speaker:do it for you, you have to have those
Speaker:first things. You have to have made that
Speaker:decision, and you have to have made a
Speaker:commitment before the coach will do you
Speaker:any good. Listen, that work there will
Speaker:save a lot of people a lot of money and a
Speaker:lot of wasted time, because if you
Speaker:haven't, if you don't have the ability to
Speaker:make a solid decision or make a definite
Speaker:commitment, it doesn't matter. As that
Speaker:gentleman told you, it doesn't matter how
Speaker:much money you have available to pay for
Speaker:whatever coach, it's not going to work
Speaker:because you haven't done step one and step
Speaker:two. Make the decision. Make the decision,
Speaker:and then be committed and stick to the
Speaker:decision. Wow. That's. That's powerful.
Speaker:And so you yourself also are a coach. Can
Speaker:you talk to us a little bit about your
Speaker:program and why your program is
Speaker:successful? Well, there's a lot of people
Speaker:in this space, christians especially, that
Speaker:are afraid of sales. They're just afraid.
Speaker:They have great morals, great ethics, but
Speaker:low sales skills, low self belief. They
Speaker:don't want to be seen as pushy as salesy.
Speaker:They don't want to reek of commission
Speaker:breath. Right. So, as a result, they don't
Speaker:make sales, and their businesses suffer.
Speaker:One of the programs I run is a sales
Speaker:accountability program. Call it 90k in 90
Speaker:days. The objective is to help you get an
Speaker:additional 90,000 in the next 90 days in
Speaker:business. And what we do is we help get
Speaker:people past their fear of sales. We hold
Speaker:their feet to the fire to sell, to go out
Speaker:there, talk to people, ask for business.
Speaker:And I got to tell you, Laquita, that has
Speaker:worked really, really well. So, if you're
Speaker:a christian business owner and you know
Speaker:you need sales and you know that you're
Speaker:not good at it or. Or scared of it, then a
Speaker:sales accountability program like mine is
Speaker:exactly what you need. Get you past your
Speaker:fear get you into action, get you selling,
Speaker:because God intends for you to sale. Sales
Speaker:is an act of love. I only sell to people I
Speaker:love. I say that again. I say that part
Speaker:right there. Sales is an act of love. I
Speaker:only sell people I love. Wow. I've never
Speaker:heard it put that way. I've never heard it
Speaker:put that way ever. And as you're saying
Speaker:it, I'm thinking, like, wow, that's a big
Speaker:statement. But then, as a business owner,
Speaker:I'm thinking also, I want to do business
Speaker:with who I want to do business with. And
Speaker:that does not mean I want to do business
Speaker:with everybody that can afford to do
Speaker:business with me. So my understanding of
Speaker:that statement is I'm selling to people
Speaker:that I love, people who I see the
Speaker:potential in, and that I want to work
Speaker:with. Is. Is that kind of close to. To
Speaker:that? Mmm. I love that. So. Exactly. I
Speaker:only want. I only want to spell people
Speaker:that I. I have an affinity for. So if
Speaker:somebody is going to be disrespectful, you
Speaker:know, disloyal is going to push back. I
Speaker:don't want to sell them. Not at all. Yeah.
Speaker:Yeah. So listen, people, I hope, I hope
Speaker:and I pray that if nothing else stuck out
Speaker:to you today, there should be at least
Speaker:four things that stuck out to you today.
Speaker:Number one, make a decision. Number two,
Speaker:commit to that decision. And number three,
Speaker:sell to people that you love. I only sell
Speaker:to people that I love. I only sell to
Speaker:people who I want to maintain a
Speaker:relationship. Like, I want to sell to a
Speaker:specific group of people. And because I
Speaker:love them and want them to do better, I
Speaker:want. I know they need to be connected to
Speaker:me and I need to be connected to them, and
Speaker:that's why I'm selling them. So what I
Speaker:hear you also saying in that is changing
Speaker:our mindset about sales. Yes. Yes. That
Speaker:it's not a bad thing. That it's. It's
Speaker:actually a good thing. And, and are those,
Speaker:those are different things that people
Speaker:within your group and your accountability
Speaker:group that you go through with helping
Speaker:them to make that shift in their thinking
Speaker:about sales? Absolutely. Without that
Speaker:shift in their thinking about sales, they
Speaker:are not going to succeed. Let's be 1000%
Speaker:honest with each other. You cannot succeed
Speaker:if you are unwilling to change your mind
Speaker:about sales. If you're going to be soft in
Speaker:your conversations and nice, you're going
Speaker:to be stuck with your client in the apathy
Speaker:zone. People buy when they're hungry, and
Speaker:when they're excited, when they're hungry,
Speaker:they got to make a change. When they're
Speaker:excited, they see an exciting future that
Speaker:they want. When they're in the middle
Speaker:because of you. That they're in the middle
Speaker:because your language is soft, because
Speaker:you're shading the truth, also known as
Speaker:lying. Oh, wow. Yeah. Look, if you're a
Speaker:fitness coach, right, and you're talking
Speaker:to a client and go, well, listen, you're
Speaker:just a little bit big boned. No, you're
Speaker:fat. You're fat. You need to lose weight
Speaker:so you don't die 20 years early and your
Speaker:family gets to have you around longer.
Speaker:It's cause you're fat. It's cause you're
Speaker:fat. Not cause you're big boned. Cause
Speaker:you're fat. And you know why you're fat?
Speaker:Cause you eat too much and you move too
Speaker:little. That's a problem. And we need to
Speaker:change that. You understand? Like, that's
Speaker:how I would speak to you. And if you're in
Speaker:business and your business is under 100
Speaker:grand and you're not able to make your
Speaker:mortgage payments, you don't have enough
Speaker:money for groceries, you're going deeper
Speaker:into debt every month, you suck at
Speaker:selling. You suck at selling. You. No, no,
Speaker:it's not that times are tough. It's you
Speaker:suck at selling. We need to make you not
Speaker:suck at selling. We need to make you good
Speaker:at selling. We need to make sure that you
Speaker:understand why that's important and we
Speaker:need to push you out of your comfort zone
Speaker:if this hurts your feelings. You care more
Speaker:about your feelings than you do about your
Speaker:life and your success. Wow. I submit to
Speaker:you that if you care more about your
Speaker:feelings than your life and your success,
Speaker:you are not truly a child of God. That is
Speaker:allowing God to serve you, because God
Speaker:gives you messages like two by fours to
Speaker:the head sometimes. Yes, he does. Yes, he
Speaker:does. He's unapologetic. My God is a
Speaker:loving God, but my God is not a wasp. Not
Speaker:at all. Not at all. He gives you the truth
Speaker:and nothing but the truth, and we just
Speaker:have to take it. For the truth shall set
Speaker:you free. Do not seek a shade of the
Speaker:truth. Do not seek a indirect version of
Speaker:the truth, also known as a lie. See that
Speaker:part? The truth. The truth. The truth
Speaker:shall set you free. Yes. Yes. Oh, my. Do
Speaker:you lack energy? Are you overweight?
Speaker:You're fat because you eat too much and
Speaker:you don't move enough. Let's handle that.
Speaker:Right? Are you going further and further
Speaker:into debt every month? Right? Are you
Speaker:unable to pay your mortgage? Your business
Speaker:is failing because you don't know how to
Speaker:sell and you're afraid of selling. Those
Speaker:are true. Let's do something about that.
Speaker:Let's do something about it. Do something
Speaker:about that. Right. Right. Wow. So when.
Speaker:When a person wants to connect with you
Speaker:and your accountability, your sales
Speaker:accountability academy, they have to be
Speaker:ready to receive the truth. They have to
Speaker:be ready to receive the truth that's not
Speaker:sugar coated and be determined that, okay,
Speaker:this is the truth. This is why I'm here.
Speaker:What do I need to do to fix it? And be
Speaker:willing to make the necessary commitments
Speaker:to take the steps to fix the problem.
Speaker:Amen, sister. Amen. Wow. Wow. I'm here
Speaker:coming from love, but I'm here. Not coming
Speaker:from. From weakness. Not coming from
Speaker:wanting you to like me. I don't care if
Speaker:you like me. Mm hmm. I want you to know I
Speaker:love you, and I'm here to help you win.
Speaker:I'm coming, love, but I'm not gonna let
Speaker:you keep lying to yourself. Not. Come on.
Speaker:That's. Those are the most. Those are the
Speaker:most devastating lies we tell are the ones
Speaker:we tell to ourselves. Yep, you got it. Oh,
Speaker:yeah. Yeah. That could be a whole topic of
Speaker:conversation right there. The lies we tell
Speaker:to ourselves to keep us stuck. But listen,
