Section 1
Ruth’s return to Naomi with the grain she gathered is more than provision; it is an expression of selflessness rooted in love. Ruth does not hoard what she received but immediately shares it, demonstrating that blessings from God are meant to flow outward, not terminate with us. Naomi’s response reveals a softened heart, moving from bitterness to recognition that God is at work. She blesses the one who blessed Ruth, understanding that when someone serves God’s people, the benefit extends beyond the immediate recipient. This moment marks a spiritual shift for Naomi, as she acknowledges that God has not abandoned her but is actively providing through others, reminding us that gratitude and blessing should always follow God’s provision.
Section 2
Naomi’s recognition of Boaz as a kinsman redeemer introduces one of the most profound redemptive themes in Scripture. Rooted in Levitical law, the kinsman redeemer was responsible for restoring what was lost, whether property, freedom, or family stability. This role was never merely transactional; it was relational, sacrificial, and covenantal. Boaz embodies this principle by protecting Ruth, providing for her, and committing to her well-being over time. This framework powerfully foreshadows Jesus Christ, who redeems not with silver or land but with His own blood, rescuing humanity from bondage and restoring an eternal inheritance. Redemption, both then and now, is an act of love that reaches backward, forward, and outward.
Section 3
The unfolding of Ruth’s story reveals a God who orchestrates events with precision and purpose, even when circumstances appear hopeless. Naomi’s journey from despair to hope is not accidental but divinely arranged, demonstrating that God’s blessings often take time to be understood. Boaz’s invitation for Ruth to remain through the entire harvest mirrors Christ’s ongoing invitation to remain in Him daily, receiving continual grace and strength. God’s blessings never fall short, and His commitment does not expire. The book of Ruth affirms that God works all things together for good, not as a sentimental idea, but as a description of how He faithfully operates, coordinating lives, losses, and blessings into a redemptive plan marked by mercy, provision, and enduring love.
Hello, everybody.
Speaker A:I've got sunshine on a cloudy day when it's cold outside I've got my mother made.
Speaker A:Here's what's coming up on today's experience.
Speaker A:It's day.
Speaker A:Dr. Dave's devotional diamond of the day, also known as DD DDDD's, where my daily devotions become some of our spiritual reflections.
Speaker A:Sound effects placed throughout the show, which have nothing to do with life.
Speaker A:But the Bible teaches in Ecclesiastes 3, 4, there's a time to laugh, and I feel like laughing.
Speaker A:All right, that's enough.
Speaker A:The review of the goofy news, which proves Jesus is coming back sooner than you think.
Speaker A:We hope before this introduction is over, life lessons for our faith that we could actually use.
Speaker A:Probably won't if we sit on our blessed assurance.
Speaker A:Yikes.
Speaker A:Humor that will force you to think, why does this guy have a radio show?
Speaker A:Well, like I told you before, I went to the car wash. And they said, no, that's why I'm doing the show.
Speaker A:Also, Bible trivia for fake and yet somehow real cool prizes, your phone calls and more.
Speaker A:Living this life, not always easy running in this race.
Speaker A:So thankful for your love.
Speaker A:Welcome to the David Spoon Experience, Local, national and heavenly talk.
Speaker A:My name is Dr. David Spoon.
Speaker A:I'll be your host for the next 5,400,000 milliseconds.
Speaker A:Get ready for one of the more bizarre experiences on live radio.
Speaker A:Here is the key to the show.
Speaker A:We don't know what we're doing.
Speaker A:We have no idea what's going to happen and we don't care.
Speaker A:But for the next few minutes, I wanna talk biblical faith with you.
Speaker A:So here we go.
Speaker A:We're asking questions about living life as a Christian.
Speaker A:That thingy right there.
Speaker A:And here is our questions on Mondays as we head into the week.
Speaker A:We think it's really important for people to know that there are other believers who are for them, who support them.
Speaker A:Doesn't mean it's denominational connected.
Speaker A:It means that we are blood relatives through the the blood of Jesus Christ.
Speaker A:We have one heavenly Father.
Speaker A:When Jesus taught us to pray, he said, say our Father, and we drink of one Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:The unity is there.
Speaker A:And scripture in Ephesians says, keep the unity.
Speaker A:It's already there.
Speaker A:Got it.
Speaker A:All right, so let's just make this as simple as possible.
Speaker A:If in fact you got something going on and you need prayer, bring it to this show.
Speaker A:We will pray.
Speaker A: We will use Mark: Speaker A:That's the faith Then he says, let this cup pass from me.
Speaker A:That's his petition.
Speaker A:And then he does surrender, nevertheless.
Speaker A:Not my will, but thy will be done.
Speaker A:We'll do the exact same thing.
Speaker A:We'll combine our faith with yours and bring it before the Lord.
Speaker A:What can our prayer warriors pray for you about?
Speaker A:It's not a group of people that are sitting there with the telephones and they're just gonna take your calls and response.
Speaker A:Not how we do.
Speaker A:The people that listen to the show are the prayer warriors.
Speaker A:That's how we do it.
Speaker A:So we encourage you to participate in that.
Speaker A:Now, if you have a prayer request and you're just like, man, I really do need to get prayer for this.
Speaker A:It doesn't have to be something bad.
Speaker A:It doesn't have to be something good.
Speaker A:None of that's required.
Speaker A:Just so you can know.
Speaker A:What's required is we bring it with faith and confidence in God's goodness.
Speaker A:So if you've got something you wanna share, here's what we'll tell you to do.
Speaker A:Reach out and give us a holla.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Cause just to be honest, that could get pretty boring.
Speaker A:But you will be communicating with your brothers and sisters across planet Earth.
Speaker A:You'll be talking to one of one another.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:Talking to one another.
Speaker A:That's like heading into the week with great faith and expectation.
Speaker A:So it's important for us to understand that this is about one another, but it's ultimately about the Lord.
Speaker A:And it's all of us coming before the Lord, seeking, searching, wanting to draw closer to him, wanting to draw closer to one another, and wanting to be a light to those who are in darkness.
Speaker A:That's kind of like everything we do.
Speaker A:And so we don't do it perfectly.
Speaker A:It's not a perfect show.
Speaker A:Not everything's just done on time.
Speaker A:Sometimes the tech doesn't work.
Speaker A:If you noticed last Friday, none of the tech worked, so there was no show.
Speaker A:That's a lot of tech not working.
Speaker A:But that's all right because the Lord had other plans and other things.
Speaker A:And we trust that God knows and that he has our best interests at heart all the time.
Speaker A:So if you have a prayer request, we're gonna encourage you.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:That's the text number.
Speaker A:It's actually the number for the ministry, but during the show, it's a text number.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Additionally, you can send an email.
Speaker A:So some people are like, yeah, I don't want to call.
Speaker A:I'll text.
Speaker A:I don't want to call or text.
Speaker A:I'll send an email.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:Davidhemustincrease.org if you're not sure what email is, they've invented fire.com.
Speaker A:david.
Speaker A:That's my name with the circle.
Speaker A:He must increase.
Speaker A:John.
Speaker A:3:30.
Speaker A:He must increase.
Speaker A:I must decrease.org nonprofit corporation.
Speaker A:We don't make any profits.
Speaker A:We don't have any profits on our board.
Speaker A:At least not that I'm aware of.
Speaker A:So keeping it simple.
Speaker A: gle, like Paul said in Romans: Speaker A:And we'll pray for you, and we'll pray with you.
Speaker A:Call, text, or email.
Speaker A:But it's not, by the way, just for prayer requests.
Speaker A:It's also for praise reports.
Speaker A:Praise reports are awesome.
Speaker A:What are praise reports?
Speaker A:Praise reports, they're just testimonies telling what the Lord has done.
Speaker A:If you guys will remember, last week, I asked you guys to please pray for Noel's tooth.
Speaker A:Cause she had a lot of work done on it.
Speaker A:You know, I know Robert has had a lot of work done on his.
Speaker A:She had a lot of work.
Speaker A:It was getting worse and worse and worse.
Speaker A:And so we talked about it.
Speaker A:Cause she was gonna have to go back.
Speaker A:And you know what we came up with?
Speaker A:We came up with this brilliant, brilliant idea.
Speaker A:Let's pray about it.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:I know.
Speaker A:It's just like, oh, yeah, there's a good idea.
Speaker A:And so in that, in praying about it, we started to pray for her.
Speaker A:We started with you guys asking to help.
Speaker A:So we've prayed starting, I think it was on Wednesday.
Speaker A:Thursday.
Speaker A:Today is Monday.
Speaker A:She canceled her return doctor dentist appointment because her tooth is feeling so much better.
Speaker A:And she said it specifically started on the day we started praying.
Speaker A:What is that?
Speaker A:That is a praise report.
Speaker A:We acknowledge the Lord.
Speaker A:We acknowledge his grace.
Speaker A:Some people are probably saying, oh, that's just a coincidence.
Speaker A:Yeah, it's always a coincidence until it happens to you.
Speaker A:The idea behind this is that we prayed.
Speaker A:God answered the prayer.
Speaker A:She's doing so much better.
Speaker A:That's now a praise report from a prayer request.
Speaker A:So if you got that going on, don't hesitate.
Speaker A:Also, maybe you just got something you want to share.
Speaker A:Maybe you have something you got to say.
Speaker A:Dave, I did find a bagel place that has really, really good corned beef.
Speaker A:Where?
Speaker A:Share that.
Speaker A:Okay, cool.
Speaker A:And don't tell me I have to go to Detroit or don't tell me I have to go to New York to get it.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Because I'm in Texas.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:All right, cool.
Speaker A:So bottom line is, those are the things that are on the table available for you to be.
Speaker A:We hope to be a blessing for you and to you in some capacity.
Speaker A:A couple things we need to take of, in care of in family business.
Speaker A:So we do that because we're a faith family.
Speaker A:I like that.
Speaker A:Jeanette said that.
Speaker A:I've used that in prayer several times now.
Speaker A:A faith family.
Speaker A:Very, very, very, very cool.
Speaker A:All right, here it is.
Speaker A:Number one, tax receipts went out.
Speaker A:Tax receipts went out.
Speaker A:Now, if you didn't get them by email, they'd be coming by mail.
Speaker A:Some people prefer mail.
Speaker A:Nothing wrong with that.
Speaker A:If you didn't get it in the email, check your junk file.
Speaker A:And then if you still didn't give it, reach out to me because they have all gone out.
Speaker A:And we've only had, really a couple of mistakes, which is like, praise the Lord.
Speaker A:And then we've only had, on top of that, a couple of things that people didn't get.
Speaker A:So we're doing really good.
Speaker A:We're happy about that.
Speaker A:Got that done really before the 15th of the month.
Speaker A:That's kind of cool.
Speaker A:That's number one.
Speaker A:Number two, this is all on you guys.
Speaker A:I hope you're ready for this.
Speaker A:Ready.
Speaker A:I have come to an end in the studying for the Book of Ruth, which we're going to be doing today.
Speaker A:I am now asking people, I'm going to give you a couple of choices because we have to go into another book.
Speaker A:So we have about three books that we're ending.
Speaker A:And so the study has been done for many of them.
Speaker A:One of the books we're writing is Ruth.
Speaker A:That'll be done in a couple weeks.
Speaker A:So I'm trying to.
Speaker A:I'm praying about it now.
Speaker A:Need your help to pray.
Speaker A:Do we go into Proverbs, Deuteronomy, a minor prophet, or somewhere else?
Speaker A:So if you have an opinion on there.
Speaker A:There's no wrong opinion.
Speaker A:And it doesn't mean because you give your opinion, I'm going to use it.
Speaker A:But I'm just taking the temperature to see where everybody's at.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Very Cool.
Speaker A:Now two more things, and then we'll get into, in fact, the Book of Ruth.
Speaker A:Don't forget to be praying for others.
Speaker A:That's our call.
Speaker A:That's our mission that we do for one another.
Speaker A:We love one another.
Speaker A:We embrace with one another.
Speaker A:We carry one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ according to Galatians 6.
Speaker A:2.
Speaker A:On the website hemousincrease.org hemustincrease.org, hemustincrease.org about halfway down the main page is a new radio schedule.
Speaker A:It has been modified.
Speaker A:It will run starting in March 2nd.
Speaker A:Starting on March 2nd.
Speaker A:And we'll run for about three or four months.
Speaker A:Give you a chance to look at it so you can see on the station what's coming up.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:We're trying to make that a little more accessible and a little easier for people to connect to.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:I'll tell you about my big rebuke that the Lord gave me this weekend.
Speaker A:But first we'll get into the text because I don't feel like covering it right now.
Speaker A:But it was a good one.
Speaker A:It was really big.
Speaker A:And so I'll share that with you.
Speaker A:Owning it, because I did something.
Speaker A:The Lord, you know.
Speaker A:You know, I just want to say, you know, I did something, and the Lord was like, I didn't give you permission to do that.
Speaker A:I had to undo the whole thing.
Speaker A:I'll tell you about that.
Speaker A:I promise that'll come up.
Speaker A:All right, so last thing, don't forget, you know, praying for one another.
Speaker A:Pray for safety and peace.
Speaker A:I'm sure a lot of you heard on some of the newscasts that they have went into a church yesterday and disrupted a service.
Speaker A:I'm not picking the sides on the politics.
Speaker A:I'm picking God's side and disrupting his people worshiping is a very severe judgment from God.
Speaker A:So that's all I could say.
Speaker A:And they should not do that.
Speaker A:And I'm really aware of that.
Speaker A:Keep it just as strong as you can in your faith.
Speaker A:Do not be afraid.
Speaker A:Stand firm.
Speaker A:For he that is with us is greater.
Speaker A:He that is with us is greater than he that is in the world.
Speaker A:Get it?
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Cool.
Speaker A:Wasn't that fun?
Speaker A:Okay, here we go.
Speaker A:So we're sounding good.
Speaker A:Everybody can see it.
Speaker A:Everybody can hear it.
Speaker A:I'm taking a sip of tea.
Speaker A:So take a deep breath.
Speaker A:That's the only time you have dead air on our show is when I take a sip of tea.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:We are in, in fact, the Book of Ruth and for Those that do not know we are in Ruth, chapter two, verse 19.
Speaker A:And you might be saying, well, how can you be done with some of Ruth?
Speaker A:Because you're just like halfway through.
Speaker A:Trust me, I'm done on a lot of this.
Speaker A:Okay, but let's pick it up at 19.
Speaker A:This is right after Ruth gathers the barley that she had been beating out all day.
Speaker A:She had a half a bushel.
Speaker A:She carried it back into her town.
Speaker A:She showed it to her mother in law.
Speaker A:Ruth gave her the food that was left over from her lunch.
Speaker A:So this is what Ruth is doing, is sharing with Naomi.
Speaker A:She's sharing with Naomi.
Speaker A:You getting that?
Speaker A:I just want you to see that she's like.
Speaker A:And when you get blessed by something or by some circumstance, by the grace of God, always by the grace of God, by the way, then you share it.
Speaker A:You don't just keep the blessings that God gives you for yourself.
Speaker A:That's selfishness.
Speaker A:Selflessness is when you take that which is given to you and share that with others.
Speaker A:And so she does that because she loves her.
Speaker A:And that's how we ought to be with one another.
Speaker A:That's what we ought to do.
Speaker A:So as she gets there and she's sharing it now, Naomi is like going, whoa.
Speaker A:Probably not with that actual verbiage, but I thought it sounded good.
Speaker A:She said, two, Ruth, where did you gather all this grain today?
Speaker A:Where did you work?
Speaker A:May the Lord bless the one who helped you.
Speaker A:Well, first, the first place that Naomi got help or Ruth got help was from the Lord.
Speaker A:But the second place was Boaz.
Speaker A:And there's another element there, right there in the Scripture that you and I should take hold of.
Speaker A:We should seize upon that.
Speaker A:Naomi prays a blessing on the person who blessed Ruth, because that person in blessing Ruth blessed Naomi too.
Speaker A:And therefore Naomi, knowing that she should probably not have blamed God, because now she's acknowledging it's God that's helping, wants the Lord to bless the person that helped her.
Speaker A:The rest of the verse says, so.
Speaker A:Ruth told her mother in law about the man in whose field she had worked.
Speaker A:And she said, the man I worked with today is named Boaz.
Speaker A:What does Naomi say?
Speaker A:May the Lord bless him.
Speaker A:Naomi told her daughter in law, you see, when people are a blessing to you, when they do something, and it's really.
Speaker A:And it helps you in the Lord, it provides for you.
Speaker A:It gives you a greater sense of standing in the Lord.
Speaker A:You bless those people and you ask God to bless those people because God has used them to be a blessing to you.
Speaker A:I do that as Often as I can.
Speaker A:Don't perfectly.
Speaker A:But I do it a lot because you guys bless me a lot.
Speaker A:And so I'm asking God to bless you back.
Speaker A:And it's not just financially.
Speaker A:I got people that are praying for me.
Speaker A:People will send me a word.
Speaker A:Hey, just.
Speaker A:Here's a word from the Lord.
Speaker A:Just stand firm in what you're doing.
Speaker A:You know, that's a blessing.
Speaker A:Sometimes it's a little bit of a war.
Speaker A:It's good to be encouraged.
Speaker A:So in verse 20 of chapter two, she says, may the Lord bless him.
Speaker A:I mean, just think about.
Speaker A:That's just how we should all be, right?
Speaker A:She says this.
Speaker A:He is showing his kindness to us as well as to your dead husband.
Speaker A:Oh, just a second.
Speaker A:He's being kind to the dead husband.
Speaker A:How?
Speaker A:Because he's blessing Ruth.
Speaker A:And Ruth was married to him.
Speaker A:And he is being blessed.
Speaker A:He is not just blessing that person who's alive, but everybody connected to that person.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because her husband has not ceased to exist.
Speaker A:He's just not on earth then.
Speaker A:And I've been waiting to do this for a while, by the way.
Speaker A:Then Naomi says this.
Speaker A:He is showing you kindness to us as well as to your dead husband.
Speaker A:That man is one of our closest relatives, one of our family Redeemers, or as you'll know it, kinsman Redeemer.
Speaker A:So I have a little drop on the kinsman Redeemer, and it's pretty cool.
Speaker A:So I want to read it and go through it.
Speaker A:The primary biblical foundation of the role of the kinsman Redeemer is found in the Book of Leviticus and in the Book of Ruth.
Speaker A: Leviticus: Speaker A:This law underscores the responsibility of the kinsman Redeemer to restore the economic stability of a family member by redeeming property that was sold due to poverty.
Speaker A:In addition.
Speaker A:Doesn't stop there.
Speaker A:In addition to property redemption, the kinsman Redeemer also had the duty to redeem individuals who had sold themselves into slavery willfully.
Speaker A: By the way, Leviticus: Speaker A:If a foreigner or temporary resident amongst you becomes rich and your brother living near him becomes poor and sells himself to the foreigner or to a member of his clan, he retains the right of redemption.
Speaker A:After he has sold himself, one of his brothers may redeem him.
Speaker A:That's kind of how that went.
Speaker A:The role of the kinsman Redeemer is a.
Speaker A:Listen to this A profound foreshadowing of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
Speaker A:Right in the law, God testifies to the Gospel just through the principle of the kinsman redeemer.
Speaker A:Jesus, our closest relative, get it, has the opportunity through purchase, specifically in this case, his blood, to buy us back.
Speaker A:That's what redemption is.
Speaker A:In the New Testament, Jesus is portrayed as the ultimate Redeemer who delivers humanity from the bondage of sin and death.
Speaker A:Just as the kinsman redeemer acted out of love and obligation to restore and protect, Jesus redeems believers, securing their eternal inheritance.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker A:This typology is evident in passages such as what Dave, Ephesians 1:7.
Speaker A:In him referring to Jesus, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace.
Speaker A:That is where the kinsman redeemer element comes in.
Speaker A:And it is cool cause it's in the book of Ruth, but it's centered in Leviticus 25.
Speaker A:And it's a foreshadowing of Jesus purchasing us with his blood.
Speaker A:So we are not in bondage.
Speaker A:How powerful is that?
Speaker A:That's pretty cool.
Speaker A:You gotta.
Speaker A:That's pretty cool.
Speaker A:That is cool.
Speaker A:Just think about that.
Speaker A:So let's just go back a little bit to this.
Speaker A:Cause I don't want to miss any of this.
Speaker A:I don't want you to get too startled by this part.
Speaker A:When she tells Naomi, Ruth tells Naomi it's the man's Boaz, Naomi immediately calls the Lord again to bless him.
Speaker A:She turns to Ruth, says, he's blessing you.
Speaker A:He's blessing me.
Speaker A:He's blessing my husband.
Speaker A:Blessing your late husband.
Speaker A:What a beautiful truth.
Speaker A:Naomi recognizes the blessings reach beyond the moment.
Speaker A:Have you ever been blessed by the Lord?
Speaker A:It doesn't stop there at your borders.
Speaker A:They extend to people, even.
Speaker A:Listen to this across generations.
Speaker A:When the Lord blesses you and you're able to take that blessing and bless your children, your siblings, you are using the very principle to reach into another generation.
Speaker A:The very blessing that God did upon you, you are blessing them.
Speaker A:It is in a remarkable way, God's blessing that touches the past, the present, and the future, proving his goodness never operates in isolation, but for the benefit of many.
Speaker A:Remember, David was made king.
Speaker A:And when he realized he was made king, he recognized he was made king for the sake of the people, not because of him, but because of God, who is going to help his people.
Speaker A:So then Naomi explains that Boaz, he's more than just a kinman.
Speaker A:He's their kinsman redeemer.
Speaker A:So the word actually in the Hebrew is goel.
Speaker A:Goel.
Speaker A:And refers to a male relative.
Speaker A:Male relative responsible for rescuing and restoring a family member in need.
Speaker A:And as you know, this is deeply woven into the covenant life of Israel.
Speaker A:Rejecting God's justice, mercy, reflecting.
Speaker A:Sorry, God's judgment, mercy, and commitment to family.
Speaker A:God's committed to family.
Speaker A:I mean, you might have to think he is committed to family, but he's also committed to the spiritual family.
Speaker A:So people go, well, blood's thicker than water.
Speaker A:Yeah, the blood of Jesus is, isn't it?
Speaker A:Because they're trying to use that as baptisms.
Speaker A:The water and the blood and the.
Speaker A:No, the blood of Jesus.
Speaker A:You're right.
Speaker A:The kinsman redeemer has the power to buy back lost property, protect widows, and ensure the continuation of the family name.
Speaker A:And like I said, it's just.
Speaker A:It's absolutely a beautiful picture of redemption.
Speaker A:Points directly to Jesus, who is our eternal kinsman redeemer through his sacrifice on the cross.
Speaker A:Come on, that's cool.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:I mean, this is just cool no matter what you say, right?
Speaker A:All right, so we go back to the text, though, because I want to finish this.
Speaker A:So she says, this man is one of our closest relatives, one of our family redeemers.
Speaker A:Then Ruth said, what's more, Boaz even told me to come back and stay with his harvesters until the entire harvest is completed.
Speaker A:A kinsman redeemer is a long term redeemer.
Speaker A:Jesus didn't just redeem you and then say, good luck, hope it works out for you, let me know.
Speaker A:He is long term committed.
Speaker A:That's what a kinsman redeemer is.
Speaker A:So the good news continues as Ruth is telling Naomi, Boaz has invited her to return so he can keep on blessing her.
Speaker A:Just like Jesus has invited you and I to connect so he can keep on blessing us.
Speaker A:Jesus calls us to continually come to him, not just once, as you guys know.
Speaker A:Daily.
Speaker A:The invitation.
Speaker A:Listen to this.
Speaker A:Daily to receive.
Speaker A:Daily to receive his grace, his provisions, his strength.
Speaker A:I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me daily.
Speaker A:His blessings do not run short.
Speaker A:I played basketball a little bit in some church leagues.
Speaker A:The one thing you never wanted to do when you're hanging out with your buddies is to throw the ball short.
Speaker A:It's the worst thing you could ever do.
Speaker A:You'd never hear the end of it for at least a week.
Speaker A:You'd just be hearing, nice, nice soft toss.
Speaker A:That's all you'd ever hear.
Speaker A:And so the idea is that Jesus never runs short.
Speaker A:His blessings do not run out, and his invitation never ends.
Speaker A:Do you know that Jesus hasn't just invited you once, he invites you every day.
Speaker A:That.
Speaker A:Come and see that.
Speaker A:Jesus said, that's for all of us, all the time.
Speaker A:What are we doing here?
Speaker A:Come and see.
Speaker A:I'll show you.
Speaker A:Come and connect.
Speaker A:I'll show you.
Speaker A:I know it's hard for people to imagine this, but Jesus delights in our presence in the sense that he loves us and enjoys us and he wants to pour out more of himself on us every time we connect with Him.
Speaker A:We are so shallow.
Speaker A:We do not understand the depth of God's love.
Speaker A:He wants to just enjoy us.
Speaker A:And we want to and should want to just enjoy Him.
Speaker A:That's the text.
Speaker A:That's the Kinsman Redeemer.
Speaker A:That's Jesus.
Speaker A:And then she tells Naomi he wants me to hang out the whole time.
Speaker A:So I'll ask you this because I know you know this answer, but I want to throw it right at all of us.
Speaker A:How much does God coordinating the events that are taking place?
Speaker A:I mean, can you just look at this and go, wow.
Speaker A:She goes to Moab, it turns out to a disaster.
Speaker A:Ruth won't depart from her.
Speaker A:She comes back, she's really bitter.
Speaker A:She's calling me Mara.
Speaker A:It's just bitter.
Speaker A:Then she finds out, guess what?
Speaker A:There's a bigger plan in play.
Speaker A:It's not what you thought it was.
Speaker A:And now she's just now grasping what, wow.
Speaker A:God has orchestrated this whole thing for a purpose.
Speaker A:And when you get to the end of the book, you actually find out what the purpose is.
Speaker A:That's how good God is for you and I.
Speaker A:When he says all things work together for good, it's not just a fluff piece.
Speaker A:Oh, that sounds so nice.
Speaker A:It's so like, you know, nicey.
Speaker A:He's telling you how he operates, but it will turn where it will be a blessing because that's who he is and how he operates.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker A:I want that right.
Speaker A:You should want that.
Speaker A:Anyway.
Speaker A:All right, I will take our break here.
Speaker A:You're listening to the David Smoon Experience right here on HMIM Radio.
Speaker A:That's He Must Increase Radio, a Christian station right here in Texas and across planet Earth.
Speaker A:Take a couple minute break, not too long, but you know, long enough where I can catch my breath and get ready for the next set.
Speaker A:Don't go anywhere.
