Inke Chi:

Empower humans.

Inke Chi:

Empower humans.

Inke Chi:

So you are in the right spot to become a lead domino for Empowerment today.

Inke Chi:

My name is Inke Chi.

Inke Chi:

I'm not only your host, but I am a vibrant, optimist, obsessed success to bring you empowering content.

Inke Chi:

With each episode, we will be bringing you content, alternating between longer episodes with featured guests and shorter episodes called Empowering Bites, where I'll be joined by my co host, Gabby Mamone.

Inke Chi:

So if you're ready, let the show begin.

Gabby Mamone:

Great day, amazing humans.

Gabby Mamone:

Yes.

Gabby Mamone:

Welcome to the next episode of Empowering Bites on the Empowered My Skin podcast.

Gabby Mamone:

And it is the final one.

Gabby Mamone:

But I'm not with somebody that's final.

Gabby Mamone:

I'm with somebody that's fabulous and fantastic and what's another great F word, Gabriella Mamone.

Guest Speaker:

Oh, well, thank you very much.

Guest Speaker:

You have a lot of conviction and patience, and you were very patient and positioned in that statement.

Gabby Mamone:

And relentless.

Guest Speaker:

And relentless.

Guest Speaker:

Did you know where we're going with this?

Gabby Mamone:

I know where you're going because we had a B roll.

Gabby Mamone:

Let's just be honest.

Gabby Mamone:

We had a B roll.

Guest Speaker:

We had a B roll.

Guest Speaker:

Yeah.

Gabby Mamone:

Yeah.

Guest Speaker:

Well, today we want to talk about the framework, the framework of empowered in my skin, because it's important to have a framework of things that we believe in in the present.

Guest Speaker:

So the word be is powerful.

Guest Speaker:

The word be is very powerful.

Guest Speaker:

It's not like I want to be, it's like I am, you know, so the word be is important here.

Guest Speaker:

So I would like you to open this up and we'll start a discussion.

Gabby Mamone:

I think so.

Gabby Mamone:

And this is the last episode of season number six, and it was a gift because I was sharing with Gabby that what a lot of people don't know.

Gabby Mamone:

So there are so empowered.

Gabby Mamone:

My skin has a framework for an empowered life.

Gabby Mamone:

Right.

Gabby Mamone:

They actually start off as inky cheese framework for living, trying to empower myself.

Gabby Mamone:

And it started off with four, which was be convinced, be relentless, be patient, and be positioned.

Gabby Mamone:

you know, years ago, back in:

Gabby Mamone:

That I'm, you know, designed for greater.

Gabby Mamone:

And then being patient, knowing that, you know, the greatest thins come after they've been Simmered and slow cooked and they can nurture and all this any other.

Gabby Mamone:

And so learning how to not want things like quick like microwave oven, but like, you know, allowing them to come to me in the time that they need to and then be positioned.

Gabby Mamone:

Right.

Gabby Mamone:

And that's about who.

Gabby Mamone:

Like the environment, you know, who.

Gabby Mamone:

Who's in your environment?

Gabby Mamone:

Who's.

Gabby Mamone:

Whose environment are you in?

Gabby Mamone:

Who's in your network?

Gabby Mamone:

That kind of stuff.

Gabby Mamone:

And so being positioned.

Gabby Mamone:

And so.

Inke Chi:

So.

Gabby Mamone:

So I was telling her today that there's four others.

Gabby Mamone:

And so I'm just gonna quickly gift them to you as part of leaving the season and helping you really, you know, find things that you can add to your toolkit to live a more empowered life.

Gabby Mamone:

And so the four, the other four that we never talk about, the first one is be anchored.

Guest Speaker:

Yeah, I love it.

Gabby Mamone:

And what this one is really, really quickly is about anchoring.

Gabby Mamone:

For me, it's my faith, like God, like anchored to something that is higher and bigger than yourself.

Gabby Mamone:

There was a time when I used to be anchored to like money or relationships or people or career titles and this, that, the other.

Gabby Mamone:

And when those things go away, well, guess what?

Gabby Mamone:

I would falter, I would fall, I'd be unshaky.

Guest Speaker:

And so.

Gabby Mamone:

But when you're anchored to something that's bigger than yourself, a power that never wavers.

Gabby Mamone:

Right.

Gabby Mamone:

Like, people ask about my endless energy, and it's because I'm plugged into a very energetic source that has no bounds.

Gabby Mamone:

Right.

Gabby Mamone:

Yeah.

Gabby Mamone:

So.

Guest Speaker:

And what I know about you.

Guest Speaker:

Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you.

Gabby Mamone:

Go ahead.

Guest Speaker:

Yeah, I was gonna say, one thing I know about you from all these years is that you have a lot of self trust.

Guest Speaker:

Like you trust.

Guest Speaker:

You trust your intuition, you trust your inner guidance.

Guest Speaker:

You've got this really strong foundation.

Guest Speaker:

You're very resilient.

Guest Speaker:

And, you know, you bounce back.

Guest Speaker:

And this all comes with being anchored.

Gabby Mamone:

Thank you.

Gabby Mamone:

And I think what I've recognized, and I just have so much evidence, is like being anchored to God.

Gabby Mamone:

Every mess has become a message, right?

Gabby Mamone:

Every test is a testimony.

Gabby Mamone:

I've turned, you know, I've turned from victim to victor.

Gabby Mamone:

You know, so there's just love it and.

Gabby Mamone:

And every step of the way, it's because, you know, just I continuously increase my faith anyway, so that's number.

Gabby Mamone:

That's.

Gabby Mamone:

That's actually.

Gabby Mamone:

So it's be convinced and then it's be anchored.

Gabby Mamone:

Then you get into be relentless.

Gabby Mamone:

And then number four was used to be once upon a time, be focused.

Gabby Mamone:

But then I realized, well, ink you're focusing on the wrong thing sometimes.

Gabby Mamone:

And really and truly, I learned about.

Gabby Mamone:

No, it's about eliminating your distractions.

Gabby Mamone:

And so it became, how can I become indistractable?

Guest Speaker:

Yes.

Gabby Mamone:

And a lot of people think the opposite of distraction is focus.

Gabby Mamone:

The opposite of distraction is actually traction.

Guest Speaker:

Yeah.

Gabby Mamone:

So it's staying true to what you said you're going to do long after the, The.

Gabby Mamone:

The.

Gabby Mamone:

The feeling you said has passed and getting to that, getting over the.

Gabby Mamone:

Getting to the finish line.

Gabby Mamone:

So being indistractable in that journey, whatever it is that you are, you want to get traction on.

Gabby Mamone:

So being distractible.

Gabby Mamone:

Right.

Gabby Mamone:

And that's about eliminating the distractions, the things that cause you to not get traction on the things that you like, where you want to go in life, and.

Gabby Mamone:

And so focus on gaining traction every step of the way.

Guest Speaker:

Love it.

Gabby Mamone:

Yeah.

Guest Speaker:

And that in turn, causes a clear vision and maximizes productivity.

Gabby Mamone:

Maximizes productivity.

Guest Speaker:

I love that.

Gabby Mamone:

Yes.

Gabby Mamone:

It puts things that you need to do on your calendar.

Gabby Mamone:

Right?

Guest Speaker:

Yes, I love it.

Gabby Mamone:

Then be patient.

Gabby Mamone:

Right.

Gabby Mamone:

Which we already went through.

Gabby Mamone:

Then after that, it's be informed.

Gabby Mamone:

You know, I think some of the things that I've observed is like.

Gabby Mamone:

And I think that's why I actually started a podcast is like, I just wanted to be informed.

Gabby Mamone:

I wanted to be.

Gabby Mamone:

I want to start to learn how to be more insatiably curious, how to, like, practice active listening, how to get information so that I know that either I'm using it to make sound decisions or, you know, less likely to, like, pounce on something without having all of the information that I have.

Gabby Mamone:

And I think with information, you can also.

Gabby Mamone:

Then also inform others.

Gabby Mamone:

Right.

Gabby Mamone:

So then it's also getting to the practice of informing other people, like sharing data, you know, making decisions based on data and not just based on hearsay.

Gabby Mamone:

So be informed is such a powerful leadership tool.

Gabby Mamone:

And then obviously be.

Gabby Mamone:

Be positioned.

Gabby Mamone:

And then rounding up the eight is be grateful.

Gabby Mamone:

It is so hard to be hateful when you're grateful.

Guest Speaker:

Yeah.

Gabby Mamone:

Practice gratitude.

Gabby Mamone:

I think it's an attitude, like, you know, the attitude of gratitude you often hear about.

Gabby Mamone:

I write in my gratitude journal every single day.

Gabby Mamone:

And you don't need to be grateful for the big thins.

Gabby Mamone:

Be grateful for the small things.

Gabby Mamone:

And I think when you're grateful for small, you give yourself the opportunity to.

Gabby Mamone:

To get more.

Gabby Mamone:

Right.

Gabby Mamone:

So I think, yes.

Gabby Mamone:

You know, the Bible talks about be faithful over a few so that you can be ruler over many.

Gabby Mamone:

But I think it starts with just the small, small acts of gratitude.

Gabby Mamone:

You know, every single Day, like, be grateful for yourself.

Gabby Mamone:

Be grateful for others.

Gabby Mamone:

Be grateful for what you experience.

Gabby Mamone:

Be grateful for the hardships.

Gabby Mamone:

Because you can't have good ships without hardships, right?

Gabby Mamone:

Like, how would you know the difference if you didn't?

Gabby Mamone:

So, yeah.

Gabby Mamone:

So those are.

Gabby Mamone:

Those are that.

Gabby Mamone:

That rounds up the framework.

Gabby Mamone:

So again, all eight, be convinced.

Gabby Mamone:

Number one, know who you are.

Gabby Mamone:

Be anchored something.

Gabby Mamone:

Connect yourself to a really higher like, stronghold force that never wavers.

Gabby Mamone:

Number three, be relentless.

Gabby Mamone:

Fight the attack.

Gabby Mamone:

You've got this.

Gabby Mamone:

Run your own race, you know.

Gabby Mamone:

Number four, be indistractable.

Gabby Mamone:

You know, shut down distractions.

Gabby Mamone:

Get traction on the things that you want to do.

Gabby Mamone:

Number five, be patient.

Gabby Mamone:

Number six, be informed, you know, and inform others.

Gabby Mamone:

Number seven, be positioned.

Gabby Mamone:

And number eight, be grateful.

Gabby Mamone:

And there you have it.

Gabby Mamone:

All eight positive frameworks empowered in my skin life.

Gabby Mamone:

Yes.

Guest Speaker:

I love it.

Guest Speaker:

I love it.

Guest Speaker:

What a great way to round up the season.

Gabby Mamone:

Yes.

Gabby Mamone:

Yes.

Gabby Mamone:

And I love it.

Gabby Mamone:

I love you.

Gabby Mamone:

I am so grateful for you.

Gabby Mamone:

So grateful for the season.

Gabby Mamone:
