As we get in a rush on the holiday season,
it's much easier to overlook things

and get brought in by a scam.

This happens every year and it's
not going to be any better this year.

The best thing to do is to take the time
to keep an eye on what you're doing,

even if you're in a hurry.

If that email doesn't sound right,
if that deal seems too good to be true, or

if that website seems off a little ways,
take these things into consideration.

If you get an email that you need to pay
your bill, or the account's messed up

or something like that,

make sure you actually get Ahold

of the company directly using contact
information from their website,

and do not use anything in the email
you received,

because that might connect you
to the scammers.
