After church yesterday, I interviewed Michael R. Ritt about his first novel, The Sons of Philo Gaines. The book is the winner of the Will Rogers Gold Medallion for Western Fiction, and was a finalist for the Pathfinder Award for Best New Western and also a finalist for the Pathfinder Award for Best Western.
