"Turn the other cheek" is the most misused thing Jesus ever said. It's not a command to stay in harm's way or endure abuse. It's refusing personal revenge over an insult, breaking the cycle instead of feeding it, and trusting God to be the Judge. Escaping harm is not revenge.
