Superpowers: What superpowers come with being a highly sensitive person? Being highly sensitive means that you have sensory processing sensitivity where you notice subtle changes in stimuli and have deeper cognitive processing where your central nervous system is more sensitive than most. Given this, there are many superpowers that come along with this sensitivity. Understanding and identifying your superpowers as an HSP will allow you to feel more whole, resourceful and capable of bringing your gifts to the world. It will also help you come to terms with the person that you are. I know that for me, this was a difficult pill to swallow and took me many years to really come to terms with. Who wants to be different? Who wants to be deeply impacted by the people and the world around you? Who wants to feel debilitated after a long day at work? Once I began to understand what was happening to me and how I could use these as a strength, I have been able to hone them into a superpower.
