Meet Christina Eanes -- a former FBI violent crime analyst and senior manager, now author, speaker, podcast and YouTube channel host, and self-improvement guru.

Christina specializes in super-achieving and is on a mission to help others achieve more in life, mainly by getting out of their own way, and currently does this through her books, podcast series, professional development courses, and keynote speeches.

Christina’s newest book, Life is an Escape Room: Applying Lessons Learned from Successful Escapeletes to Achieving More in Life, demonstrates how the skills you gain playing escape rooms with intention will make you more successful in all aspects of your life. Escape rooms are a fun way to learn about perception, communication, leadership, how to have better relationships, and so much more! Each chapter provides entertaining and insightful advice (and exciting stories!) to help you improve your professional and personal life skills. In our interview, we find out how a booby-trapped Egyptian tomb, following a pirate’s treasure map, and a Sherlock Holmes mystery with an obstacle course, a hedge maze, and a playground can make your life better and improve your self-awareness and personal skills.

Christina’s other publications include: Quit Bleeping Around: 77 Secrets To Superachieving and The Secret to Super Productivity.

Listen to our conversation, and you’ll see how much of what Christina taught in law enforcement centered around awareness and self-reflection. The quality of self-awareness requires self-reflection. It is the act of making time to earnestly take a look at yourself. Beginning as a person, and then a leader. If we can take the time to understand how we are perceived by others, we can lead more effectively.

Christina describes emotional intelligence training and safety training as being interdependent because people are understanding each other at greater depths. She saw a window of opportunity from her services in law enforcement that directly translates to her work in professional development.

Today, Christina works with a team of instructors that deliver an online course every month. Their core principle shines a light on the concept of great success through greater self-awareness.
