What is your emergency evacuation plan?
Write this down and keep it either where you can see it, keep it in your wallet, keep it on your phone, keep it close.
Your emergency tool kit should have at least 5 steps.
Step One A: Play your favorite playlist: It should have AT least 3-20 songs on it. Start with your favorite song, the song that you know every word to, that makes you smile that gets your HYPED as hell.
Step One B: Affirmations!!! Write out how freaking amazing you are! Write down your goals and the kind of awesome person you are. You are a money magnet. You are living your dream life. You have a great relationship. You are a great friend. You are successful at your job. You are proud of yourself. You do things you love.
Step Two A: Lets get physical! Do something to move your body. YOu don’t have to go to the gym and slay a fuck ton of weights,but if that’s your vibe then you should absolutely do that, But it can be as simple as a walk, yoga or stretch.
Step Two B: time to phone a friend, or just text and honestly just tell them you need a quick pep talk, don’t give a ton of detail just that you need a quick cheering up and when they remind you that you are awesome and this to is going to pass you have to trust them.
Step Three A: Time to write out your feelings. Then DESTROY the paper. Burn it, shred it, soak it in water so it dissolves, throw it in a dumpster, just wreck it and take away all its power over you. As you destroy your written down doubts allow them to get destroyed from your mind.
Step Three B: Detox yourself from social media and the news.
Step Four: Spoil yourself with something. Allow yourself to have or do something all for you that doesn’t serve anyone else except you.
Step Five: Time for a more serious sit down with a friend, partner, family member or the BEST and my most recommended option is a therapist.
