Hello everyone, everywhere.
Speaker A:Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.
Speaker A:Welcome to the faith based business podcast.
Speaker A:Today we're so blessed you're joining us.
Speaker A:All week we've been studying about the kingdompreneurs business blueprint, the foundations of success, and today's training we're going to be looking at busting the myths.
Speaker A:Busting the myths, what does that mean, Pastor Bob?
Speaker A:Well, mainly dealing with conventional wisdom.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Especially without validating anything.
Speaker A:Let's go ahead and share the screen.
Speaker A:We'll go ahead and get started.
Speaker A:Today's study.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord and let that.
Speaker A:And click that.
Speaker A:There we go.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Now, we've been talking these last several sessions about testing, testing, testing, testing, asking, asking and asking for feedback.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:This is the only way, folks, that you're going to be able to receive true validation on what you're building.
Speaker A:You have to ask the questions.
Speaker A:All right?
Speaker A:Because there's dangers in believing the myths.
Speaker A:What do you mean by that?
Speaker A:Well, as kingdompreneurs, we're often tempted to just embrace conventional wisdom without really questioning its validity.
Speaker A:Now, while some advice, it may sound appealing, believing that the myths about business can often lead to unnecessary frustration and setbacks.
Speaker A:Believe me, I've been down that path.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Ms.
Speaker A:Like great products will just sell themselves or Frost promotions.
Speaker A:All you need, brother.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:That can derail even the best intentions.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Just as the enemy used subtle lies to deceive Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
Speaker A:Well, because myths can also distract us from the truth and cause us to take missteps in our business plan as well.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Today we're going to look very quickly at and expose these myths.
Speaker A:At least I'm going to attempt to and replace them with practical wisdom to guide your entrepreneurial journey down a successful path.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So when you uncover the truth behind a common business myth, you, you can gain clarity, you gain confidence in your decisions.
Speaker A:And all of this just enables you to create strategies that are rooted in reality rather than false promises.
Speaker A:Okay, let's look at some common myths in this area.
Speaker A:Myth number one, Great products sell themselves.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:I'm sure you've all heard this one.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Don't shut me down when I'm preaching.
Speaker A:Good already, praise God.
Speaker A:But even the best products need visibility to succe need.
Speaker A:If nobody knows about it, nobody's gonna buy it.
Speaker A:It's as simple as that.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Without marketing, even life changing solutions can go unnoticed.
Speaker A:And then nobody wins.
Speaker A:Not them, not you, nobody.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Practical wisdom though.
Speaker A:Invest in marketing and storytelling to highlight Your product's value.
Speaker A:People need to see how it'll improve their lives.
Speaker A:Just as we are called to let our light shine.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Matthew 5, 16.
Speaker A:A great product must be showcased to make an impact.
Speaker A:Then there is practical wisdom.
Speaker A:Use cross promotion as one of the broader strategies, ensuring that your messaging remains consistent and authentic.
Speaker A:Paul taught us in First Corinthians 3, 3, 6.
Speaker A:I believe that while some plant others water.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:It's God, though, who gives the growth.
Speaker A:Nobody else.
Speaker A:Collaboration is valuable, it's needful.
Speaker A:But it's not the whole picture.
Speaker A:Which then leads us to the answer.
Speaker A:The answer is the power of clear messaging.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Focus.
Speaker A:How do you do that?
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The clear messaging focus on your unique value myths will often distract from what truly matters.
Speaker A:That's the purpose of the myth.
Speaker A:What truly matters is communicating how your problem will actually solve problems.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And then there's consistent message.
Speaker A:You don't want to say, oh, this is the great stinks and sliced bread.
Speaker A:With this you'll be able to do X, Y and Z.
Speaker A:And then in the next time you talk about it, say, well, XYZ is fine, but it's really going to help you do abc.
Speaker A:And then the next time you talk about, yeah, it'll help you do all that, but then it's going to help you do this.
Speaker A:That's inconsistent messaging.
Speaker A:You need to be consistent in your messaging, and it needs to be clear, consistent messages that resonate with your audience, cutting through all the other noise that they're going to hear.
Speaker A:Because if you don't tell them, nobody else will.
Speaker A:That's a given right there.
Speaker A:And then you always have to have actionable insight.
Speaker A:What does that mean?
Speaker A:Replace reliance on the myths with actionable plans.
Speaker A:Test different messaging strategies.
Speaker A:See what works best for your product and your delivery style.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:What works for Pastor Bob and my style may not work for you.
Speaker A:What works for you may not work for me.
Speaker A:Each person and each business has to have their own style in this.
Speaker A:Now, the commonalities will remain the same, okay?
Speaker A:Explaining the products, services, and the benefits and all that as we just covered.
Speaker A:Your delivery method may be similar, but it's not going to be the same.
Speaker A:And the way you communicate and the way you interact with your clients will be all you.
Speaker A:There'll be some similarities, you know, email and, and maybe given online classes and the way you deliver your products and all that.
Speaker A:That's.
Speaker A:There'll be similarities there, commonalities there, but it needs to be you.
Speaker A:It needs to have you in it.
Speaker A:Okay, I could get up here and teach a class like some other people and just sit here and read to you.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:The Kingdompreneur's Business blueprint, the foundations of Success.
Speaker A:Now, the answer to everything we've been talking about is the power of clear messaging.
Speaker A:You do that by focusing on your unique value, your consistent messaging, and your actual insight.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:And that's.
Speaker A:Yeah, no, let me just say that up front.
Speaker A:No, that is not Pastor Bob style.
Speaker A:I mean, I.
Speaker A:If you've never been on an interview with me on our podcast, the Kingdom Crossroads Podcast, this is the same way I talk on the podcast.
Speaker A:I talk with my hands, and I get excited.
Speaker A:And when.
Speaker A:When people give me the feedback on the podcast, you know, because we follow up with them, you know, what they think about it and all that.
Speaker A:They're like, man, that was fun.
Speaker A:Because I've been on some podcasts where they get on there and the first thing they do is say, okay, well, let's go ahead and get started.
Speaker A:Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Speaker A:You know, and no enthusiasm.
Speaker A:They didn't do any research.
Speaker A:They're just going through the motions.
Speaker A:You know, that is not.
Speaker A:Pastor Bob.
Speaker A:If you.
Speaker A:If you've been following me for any length of time, you know, what you're seeing right now is, all right, this is me.
Speaker A:And this carries over into everything I do when I'm preaching on stage.
Speaker A:One of the things I cannot do if I'm in a church and I'm preaching a message, I cannot stand behind that pulpit.
Speaker A:I request a microphone that I can take with me because I'm a walker.
Speaker A:I walk around.
Speaker A:I'll go down into the audience.
Speaker A:This is.
Speaker A:You know, I am not one of those guys that just stand behind the podium and read my prepared notes, rarely looking up, never giving emotion.
Speaker A:That is not Pastor Bob.
Speaker A:That's one of the reasons why I.
Speaker A:I'm not going to go down that path right now.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:What am I saying?
Speaker A:You need your own style.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:Focus on your unique value.
Speaker A:Be consistent in your message.
Speaker A:You can't preach one way today and preach another way tomorrow.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:If you follow our.
Speaker A:Our ministry programs, you see me preaching the same way all the time.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Oh, man, I'm getting excited right here.
Speaker A:We need to wrap this training up.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Test the bottom line.
Speaker A:Test different marketing strategies, messaging strategies, to see what works best for you and your style.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Because believing in business myths can lead to frustration and just totally miss opportunities as they come across your path because you're too focused on how things are supposed to be.
Speaker A:By rejecting myths like great products will sell themselves and focusing on.
Speaker A:On clear messaging and actionable strategies, you position yourself for success.
Speaker A:And that's what this is all about anyway, isn't it?
Speaker A:But not just success, financially success that's rooted in truth, practicality, the word, and yes, the financial aspect as well.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So here's what you need to do right now.
Speaker A:Identify one myth, just one myth that you've believed and how it's affected your business.
Speaker A:Just one.
Speaker A:And replace it.
Speaker A:Replace.
Speaker A:Identify and replace it with a practical, faith driven strategy to move forward from this point on.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:I love to hear from you share a myth that you've encountered and how you overcame it to inspire and guide others on their journey as well.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Leave it in the comment down the show notes or reach out on the newsletter.
Speaker A:Leave a comment on the newsletter and be a blessing to others too.
Speaker A:Glory to God.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Let me stop this screen.
Speaker A:Share or man, this is.
Speaker A:I was excited, but this is a good one today.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Oh, praise God.
Speaker A:You can't, you can't hold Pastor Bob down when I get excited.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:I wasn't tired of this microphone right now, I'd be up running around this room shouting Hallelujah.
Speaker A:About 35 times.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:This week's Lessons foundation for Success have laid the foundation for a purposeful, impactful business.
Speaker A:By testing your ideas, understanding your audience, validating the concepts, rejecting the myths, you have equipped yourself to take meaningful action towards your goals.
Speaker A:Your action step for now, choose that one, that one key takeaway that you received this week.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:And commit to applying it just in the coming week, in the coming days.
Speaker A:Reflect on your progress as you do this.
Speaker A:Keep refining your approach.
Speaker A:This is not a one and done deal, folks.
Speaker A:You gotta refine this just about every single day because things change.
Speaker A:You wake up tomorrow morning, interest rates have gone up or interest rates have gone down, or whatever the case may be, things change and you need to adapt.
Speaker A:All right, as I said, I'd love to hear your thoughts on all this.
Speaker A:Share your biggest takeaway from this week and how you plan to implement it so we can all learn and grow together.
Speaker A:So I say join.

Speaker A:Hallelujah Maybe you pick up a few client new clients along the way.
Speaker A:When you do that, Hallelujah.
Speaker A:At least a friend, a collaborator.
Speaker A:Someone you can work with.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Oh, praise God.
Speaker A:That wasn't even the notes.
Speaker A:That's a free one, folks.
Speaker A:Praise God right there.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Anyway, till next time it's passed about reminding you to be blessed in all that you do.
