Shownotes

We consistently see strong remarketing campaigns DOUBLE the effectiveness of a campaign. However, even people who run strong remarketing campaigns make one crucial mistake—they only run remarketing within the same network as their original campaign.

That's where omnichannel remarketing comes in. Kasim first learned about this game-changing strategy from Aleric Heck, which has proven highly effective.

To help you achieve similar results, we have compiled a list of networks that allow omnichannel remarketing (also known as retargeting). Using as many of these networks as you find viable, you can take your remarketing efforts to the next level and achieve even greater success.

Transcripts

Kasim:

In the world of paid ads, there's one tool that rises above

2

:

all others in terms of amplification.

3

:

Here's what that means.

4

:

There's one tool on your tool

belt that will amplify everything

5

:

else that you're doing, paid and

organic, sometimes by double.

6

:

And that tool is re marketing.

7

:

Re marketing.

8

:

I have consistently seen strong

re marketing campaigns double

9

:

the efficacy of paid marketing.

10

:

As a matter of fact, my business

is a perfect example of that.

11

:

Our cost per lead used to

average about 500 bucks.

12

:

And when we ran remarketing

campaigns to a company, our normal

13

:

campaigns, it cut it into half.

14

:

It's sub 250.

15

:

it's an amazing ability to move

the needle without much cost.

16

:

That's what's really cool is

marketing campaigns are effectively

17

:

free in some instances because

you don't pay unless somebody

18

:

clicks and you want them to click.

19

:

Or if you do pay, you're

paying the lowest CPMs.

20

:

Available instead of that ad network.

21

:

There's a term that I learned from my

buddy Alrick Heck called omni channel

22

:

remarketing, which is something that he

espouses heavily and I just stole from

23

:

him shamelessly And it means that you

want to run remarketing campaigns on

24

:

every single channel possible So in this

video i'm going to talk to you about

25

:

all Of the channels that we use to run

remarketing for ourselves and channels

26

:

that you should use to run remarketing

for you So first usual suspects easy

27

:

breezy lemon squeezy the obvious ones

google which includes youtube And meta,

28

:

which is Facebook and Instagram you

have to be running remarketing campaigns

29

:

across all of these, no matter what.

30

:

If you're not doing that, you're

leaving money on the table, truly.

31

:

If somebody comes to your website

and doesn't buy, which statistically

32

:

speaking is everybody, adjusted for

margin of error, nobody buys from you.

33

:

Right?

34

:

The average conversion rate

on a website is sub 2%, which

35

:

is effectively zero people.

36

:

So, if somebody comes to your

website and doesn't buy, you want

37

:

to remind them that you exist.

38

:

Now, you can sculpt.

39

:

So you can say, Hey, only remarket

to people who didn't buy, meaning

40

:

only remarket to people who didn't

land on my, thank you page.

41

:

And maybe remove people who bounced

within 10 seconds, cause they

42

:

obviously weren't applicable.

43

:

Or maybe prioritize people that weren't.

44

:

Pricing page or my demo page so you

can sculpt these audiences, but make

45

:

sure you're running remarketing Google

network and the meta network no matter

46

:

what number two especially if your

b2b is LinkedIn LinkedIn 41 percent of

47

:

millionaires use LinkedIn according to

source con it is The nice thing about

48

:

LinkedIn is it's effectively blue ocean.

49

:

It's smaller than Google and Meta.

50

:

But the LinkedIn users

actually really engaged.

51

:

And I learned this the hard

way, kicking and screaming.

52

:

This was recommended to me

by my friend Christine Marie.

53

:

She said, don't sleep on LinkedIn.

54

:

I said, you're crazy.

55

:

LinkedIn is just, place where

people go to spam me in Messenger.

56

:

And yet we started posting

organically on LinkedIn.

57

:

It was an unbelievable how easy

it was to get an engagement and

58

:

how high value the engagement was.

59

:

Real comments, real

conversations, real discussions.

60

:

LinkedIn is taking the place of what

Twitter used to be in a lot of ways.

61

:

And so people using LinkedIn are going

to be exposed to your remarketing ads.

62

:

So make sure that you, use LinkedIn

remarketing because very, very, very

63

:

often you're marketing in a silo.

64

:

Next up, tick tock, tickety tock.

65

:

We're part of a beta program with

TikTok, where we're using TikTok in order

66

:

to amplify other marketing channels.

67

:

Re marketing on TikTok is

an absolute no brainer.

68

:

Now, marketing on TikTok really depends

on your avatar and your audience.

69

:

But the reason I say re marketing on

TikTok is a no brainer is because if

70

:

somebody's already been on your website,

they might as well see you in TikTok.

71

:

And the nice thing about TikTok is...

72

:

Permeation and penetration is

easy because people consume

73

:

an insane amount of content.

74

:

Absolutely insane amount of content.

75

:

Don't think that because your avatar is

a little older, they're not on TikTok.

76

:

I've actually seen the numbers shared

by TikTok themselves and that was true.

77

:

At the outset, but tick tocks, largest

and fastest growing audience is actually

78

:

veers a little older than you'd assume.

79

:

I think it's over 30.

80

:

So use tick tock and again, from a

remarketing perspective, it makes all

81

:

the sense in the world because you're

only going to remarket to users who've

82

:

actually already been on your site.

83

:

So it doesn't cost you anything

if there's nobody to market

84

:

to, then you just don't pay.

85

:

Same thing with Snapchat,

which is next up on my list.

86

:

Snapchat is it's not the darling that it

once was, but it has a strong contingent

87

:

of traffic, and the benefit of remarketing

on Snapchat is it costs you nothing.

88

:

Like, that is super, super cheap traffic.

89

:

Same thing with Pinterest.

90

:

Pinterest has super small

numbers, but they're mighty.

91

:

They're small but mighty.

92

:

And people in Pinterest are super

engaged inside of Pinterest and they

93

:

spend a lot of time in Pinterest.

94

:

And they take ownership over their, space.

95

:

You'll notice certain

profiles are like that.

96

:

Certain social networking sites and

content sites are like that people really

97

:

assume ownership over their Pinterest

spaces their Instagram spaces But not

98

:

quite as much over their Facebook profiles

or their LinkedIn profiles Let's say and

99

:

I think a lot of that has to do with the

UI how customizable the UI is obviously

100

:

But because people are so heavily engaged

inside of Pinterest the time in the site

101

:

is is pretty high for the average user.

102

:

So they spent a lot of time in app

and it's a great place for them.

103

:

it's neural association.

104

:

They're seeing your brand,

your face your logo, your

105

:

products, your website, whatever.

106

:

And that helps you hit those

500 touches that we have to hit.

107

:

Next up is Twitter.

108

:

Don't sleep on Twitter Building a

community is one of the strongest things

109

:

you can possibly do and then exposing

that community to your message especially

110

:

if somebody's already expressed interest

is Very powerful and again Twitter

111

:

traffic is so cheap I think we max out

our Twitter remarketing capabilities at

112

:

like 150 a month or something insane.

113

:

And I spend, 200, 000 a month in ad spend.

114

:

it's unbelievable how many people

you can get out in front of

115

:

inside of the Twitter ecosystem.

116

:

Next up would be Reddit!

117

:

Smartest people in the world are Reddit.

118

:

Smartest people in the world

are on Reddit, I should say.

119

:

The smartest people in

the world are on Reddit.

120

:

They're also the meanest

and most immature.

121

:

But they're brilliant and if your customer

base is on Reddit, then meeting them where

122

:

they are can be really, really helpful.

123

:

Bing, Microsoft's Bing, which by

the way is actually, improving

124

:

in efficacy since the rollout of

ChatGPT, which is integrated in

125

:

some of Bing's search capabilities.

126

:

We've used Bing pre Chat

GPT, and it's really helpful.

127

:

The average Bing user is less clicky

so they search less, they spend more

128

:

time on site, and they click less,

which means that when you do have

129

:

them engaged, you really own them.

130

:

They're less likely to abandon ship.

131

:

And again, traffic is super cheap.

132

:

Yahoo!

133

:

To be honest I know nothing about this.

134

:

Nor have I tested it.

135

:

But it came up in my research on

strong remarketing channels and was

136

:

recommended by some thought leaders that

I have a mild amount of respect for.

137

:

So, feel free to test Yahoo!

138

:

If you'd like.

139

:

Same thing with Amazon.

140

:

I've never run remarketing inside

of Amazon but I know it's possible.

141

:

And so if you are...

142

:

An Amazon seller, then you should

probably be using Amazon, and I didn't

143

:

want to leave it out of my video

because it didn't feel comprehensive.

144

:

One tool that I have used is AdRoll.

145

:

AdRoll is interesting.

146

:

It's a, it's a pocket of traffic that

it feels like a black hat network.

147

:

Right?

148

:

Like everywhere that AdRoll exists

feels like a website that's probably

149

:

going to get shut down someday.

150

:

For, selling illegal

Viagra pills or something.

151

:

But, again because it's remarketing

you get some really honest

152

:

shots at getting back in front

of people that were interested.

153

:

And again, the traffic is

super cheap, worth trying.

154

:

Last but not least, Taboola.

155

:

And there are others, by the way, there's

Taboola, Outbrain I forget the third.

156

:

That big one, but there's a bunch of

these content networks where you can

157

:

remarket with content specifically.

158

:

The only one that we've used is Taboola.

159

:

Traffic is super cheap.

160

:

delivering ads disguised

as editorial content.

161

:

So it's not like you can't just copy and

paste your normal marketing campaigns.

162

:

You actually have to.

163

:

create something that fits inside of

the tubal ecosystem, but if you can

164

:

create that it can be really helpful.

165

:

Here's the thing, not one of these

networks is going to make or break you.

166

:

But if you add them all together, you

end up being what I affectionately

167

:

refer to as digital herpes.

168

:

People tell me that all the time.

169

:

They're like, dude, I

cannot get rid of you.

170

:

And what they don't realize is that,

you know, they think I'm like internet

171

:

famous and a ubiquitous truth.

172

:

It's just them.

173

:

They went to my site or engaged

with one of my profiles, and now

174

:

I'm going to follow them around

until they buy, die, or unsubscribe.

175

:

And you can do the exact same

thing, and you can do it for

176

:

not nearly as much as you think.

177

:

And because of the amount of money we

spend driving traffic, and that just

178

:

doesn't mean paid traffic, by the way.

179

:

I don't, even if you're not driving

paid traffic, if you have a podcast

180

:

or a YouTube channel, and you're

having a social organic, you're

181

:

still spending money, right?

182

:

Time is money, money is money.

183

:

And getting people to the site

and then having them not convert.

184

:

Is a travesty remind them that you exist

with some of these networks you can follow

185

:

people around for years give yourself

that opportunity you've probably if

186

:

you've been following me for any length

of time heard me talk about the 500 touch

187

:

rule People think it takes seven touches

before somebody's ready to convert google

188

:

did a multi year multivariant study that

showed it takes 20 touches For a candy

189

:

bar and up to 500 touches for an airline

ticket chances are what you're selling is

190

:

either As complex or more complex than an

airline ticket, which means you need to

191

:

get 500 touches in front of that person.

192

:

And the, the, really the only way to do

that effectively is with remarketing.

193

:

You know, and 500 might be mildly

hyperbolic, depending on, I mean, even

194

:

though it's data driven from Google,

depending on the industry that you're in.

195

:

But let's say it's 50, right?

196

:

Or 20.

197

:

Remarketing is the path.

198

:

This is the way.

199

:

So I'd love to know if you have

remarketing channels that I missed,

200

:

or you've tried the two remarketing

channels that I mentioned and haven't

201

:

tried which are Amazon and Yahoo.

202

:

I'd love to know any pro tips

you have or advice, tips, tricks,

203

:

hacks, best practices, et cetera.

204

:

Otherwise, if I've provided you any
