Shownotes
Emerging from retirement, Allan Smith enjoys a brief workweek practicing government relations law and interacting with people, especially during the pre-Covid travels in Asia. He first came to Japan in 1972 and worked as a Morman missionary in Kyushu, Hiroshima, and Okinawa. After passing the bar in the US, Allan returned to Japan with the Fulbright program, and he started to practice corporate and securities law. Allan likes to scuba dive, and although he has had a few hairy incidents, the underwater world remains an inviting escape. It was nice catching up
with Allan…!
