Efforts are underway to raise £200,000 for a TT rider who’s been left paralysed following a crash in qualifying.

Sidecar racer Maria Costello is currently on the High Dependency Unit at The Walton Centre in Liverpool after breaking her back during the incident on Tuesday, 26 May.

Her team, Maria Costello Racing, say she will now need to adapt ‘almost all aspects of her life’.

They’re calling on motorsport fans to help support her recovery.
