Episode #78 : The Great Miracle Is The Cross

In this episode from August 23, 2022, Fr. Tom DiLorenzo reads from and comments upon the eighth and ninth chapters of the gospel of Mark as well as portions of Isaiah chapters 50 and 53. Isaiah, the prophet, describes the suffering servant of God who would bear the sicknesses and griefs of mankind. "He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that made us whole." Jesus is the suffering servant. He tried to prepare his disciples for his suffering and death on the cross and assured them that he would rise again. Later they understood that the greatest miracle Jesus did was on the cross where He purchased our salvation.
