Is our island increasingly a place of the “haves” and the “have nots”? Over in the Andratx area the site of some of the world’s most expensive real estate you’ve got to say that we might already have reached that condition. Certainly in the last year where there has been little work available you have to wonder how anyone living in the area has survived. This thought also occurred to George Dudfield and his dad Alec. George moved to Majorca thirteen years ago with his family. He is now a 21-year-old university student, and in his third year reading Management and German language and culture at Lancaster University, but like all students he is currently studying online.
