Shownotes
Do you need to film yourself to start a podcast? It's the question that stalls more people than anything else, and it's usually the wrong thing to be stuck on.
Everyone says video is king. But there are two numbers worth knowing before you decide, one for how much of an audio podcast people actually listen to and one for how much of a video podcast they actually watch, and the gap is far bigger than you'd expect. My agency produces both audio and video podcasts, so this isn't me picking a side.
I also cover why voice builds trust faster than video, the one caveat where I still want you filming, and a question to sit with before you plan your next episode.
