My husband Todd and I were out for a walk on a lovely day in Minneapolis, when he suddenly told me his grandson was in the area and that we were going to walk toward him. So as I approached the figure in a Minion’s costume, I realized it wasn't his grandson, but my best friend Tracey Mitchell who had flown in from Texas to surprise me for my birthday!
I wanted to sit down with Tracey while she was in town and record a podcast, as you'll read in her bio below she's a dynamic speaker, and a truly wonderful friend of many years. I thought we should talk about the value of true friendships, how we women sometimes shoot ourselves in the foot when it comes to making friends, and ways we can attract friends who will inspire us to be our best self.
Enjoy!
