Akeem is a passionate young performer who is turning his dreams into a reality studying 3 year musical theatre course in Essex. At the age of 16, After going to a musical theatre taster day he decided 2 weeks before the start of term to not take his chosen A levels and left home to live independently to study a 2 year foundation course. Hard work and perseverance resulted in him gaining places at the most prestigious performing arts schools in Europe, such as the Urdang Academy, Laine theatre arts, Mountview theatre arts and Performers College.

Akeem is now training in dancing, singing and acting everyday and has recently been appointed the student rep of his year for next 3 years
