References:

Matthew 5:43-44

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

Matthew 7: 1-3

“Do not judge, so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.  Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

Matthew 11:28-30

Come to Me, all who weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.”

Philippians 2:13

God’s love must reside within our heart’s so that we can even love our enemies. This is the perfect love that judges not, but draws in and reveals the Father’s heart to all those around us. As Christ has commanded us; “Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

Transcripts

We're not trying to get you to be for or against anything. That's not the purpose of what God's speaking. It's His love. The love of God is the motivation of our hearts. We will not be against, we will be for.

What about all this evil that's all around us? What about those people that, that are doing things wrong? Don't we have to call God in to judge them, and turn them around? Well, I don't think that's what God's saying. I think He's saying, you have to love them. That can be the hardest thing in the world for you to wrap your mind around.

You have to love your enemy. Whoa! Love my enemy? How can I do that? Well, the problem is, unless we love our enemy, we're still missing what God is calling us, in to accomplish, because it's only by loving them with His love, that we're going to see the outcome of what He's looking for. God loves all of His creation.

He's not against people. He's for them. Why does He judge evil then? Well, because God can't tolerate evil, but that's God's job. God will correct. Our job is to love. How can I love that guy? He just did something that was just absolutely against everything that I believe is right.

What's that to you? Are you the judge now? Are you gonna choose between who's right and who's wrong? What about the situation in churches today, where you have two sides? Do you have a right to take sides? Even if the side you see you think is right.

Do you have a right to take sides? I'm telling you, you don't. You don't have a right. But you don't know what I went through You don't know what they've done to me. Oh my God.! Do you think the people in the early church that were burned on post before Caesar consented to do that based on their way of thinking, that who's right and who's wrong? They simply loved God with all their hearts and were willing to lay down their lives for the Lord.

Many of the circumstances He brings us into are to drive us deeper into Him, instead of stopping what we're doing and trying to decide the difference between right and wrong. Politics - things that are happening on the world; He's coming to judge that; we're not to be doing that.

As people start looking for the Lord that they can find the Lord in us, and we can be to them what God created us to be: those without spot or wrinkle. Are we there yet? No, we have to see ourselves as God sees us. As the one doing the workmanship; He's got the perfect example in Himself.

And what is He imparting to us – Himself. You take care of yourself in your relationship to Me. The Father wants all of us. I firmly believe that He's not going to give up till He gets what He wants. We are coming into more day after day. Christ said, all you who are heavy laden, and I like one translation that said exhausted, worn out, come to Me and I will give you rest.

And that's what we're reaching for. We're reaching for that rest. And that rest is everything of Him being resident within us.

Our Father just does not take sides, does He? But mankind does take sides and we've got to come to the place, like you said, Dale, we know that we are His workmanship to do and to will of His good pleasure. But He's showing us day by day, and we are so thankful for the body of Christ that are entering in to do His will, His way.
