In 2019, Leta was certified by The League of American Bicyclists as a League Cycling Instructor (LCI). As an LCI, she is able to share her love of cycling by teaching learn to ride, Smart Cycling and various cycling classes and topics to children and adults.

Leta is also certified by the LAB as a League Cycling Coach. Now she is able to lead LCI seminars. As the League’s first African American female coach, Leta hopes to focus on working with people from diverse and underserved communities.

Leta turned her time and talents to serving her community. Currently, she volunteers as a coach for the Survivor Speak program as well as a presenter/speaker for the Safe Student Initiative of Jane Doe No More. JDNM is dedicated to empowering survivors of sexual crimes to find their voice, advance their healing and educate others.
