Toys R Us is continuing its brick-and-mortar comeback with a new store planned for Northridge Fashion Center in California’s San Fernando Valley. An opening date has not been announced. The retailer now lists more than 30 standalone and flagship U.S. locations, in addition to its presence inside Macy’s stores.

SUING FOR LACK A NOOKIE (New York Post)

Hockey player Ivan Zenchencko, 32, is suing Bauer Hockey and Pure Hockey after a puck allegedly pierced his helmet during a September 2025 game at the LA Kings Valley Ice Center. The lawsuit alleges traumatic brain injury and other lasting effects; his wife also claims loss of companionship and sexual relations.

Missouri grandmother Kathy Kite says she will keep serving free breakfasts from her Harrisburg home after Boone County health officials told her a permit was required for serving food to the public. The county says no citation or cease-and-desist order was issued and says it acted after receiving an illness complaint.
