No one needs permission anymore, but we're all waiting for it.

Permission to leave the bad job.
Speaker A:
Permission to stop pretending.
Speaker A:
Permission to admit this isn't working.
Speaker A:
We're all standing at doors that we could open waiting for someone to say it's okay.
Speaker A:
I see it everywhere.
Speaker A:
People trapped by their own freedom, paralyzed by options, drowning in choices while they do nothing.
Speaker A:
Maybe that's why we document everything.
Speaker A:
We're looking for evidence that someone somewhere gave us permission to change, to quit, to start to be different.
Speaker A:
The permission structure collapsed, but we're still waiting for approval from authorities that no longer exist.
Speaker A:
You don't need permission to be who you want to be.
Speaker A:
Neither do I.
Speaker A:
