In this episode Kelsey dives into Ego Authority, which is an inner authority rooted in the Heart/Ego center. The Ego is motor that fuels willpower, commitment, value, and material world engagement. Ego Authority is rare and deeply misunderstood, because it is not mental, emotional, or intuitive but rather the raw energy of the will itself.

For ego beings, truth lies in whether the heart is genuinely in something and nothing can override that inner reality. Kelsey explores the two expressions of Ego Authority: Ego Manifested and Ego Projected and explore how their truth comes through the voice and the body, not the mind. For ego authority, the basic idea here is that what you have the will to do is your inner authority, following your sense of motivation and will is everything for you.

The defined ego is concerned with what it has the will and thus energy to commit to, to follow through on, and what the value of that contribution is. Ego authority beings protect their heart and thus their energy, their life force, and themselves by honoring the truth of their willpower.

Will is not awareness. It's an edgy, hearty force that operates on its own accord rather than according to any awareness of safety or emotional orientation. Right?

This isn't splenic authority. This is not emotional authority. This is what do I have that edgy will to be able to offer, say, contribute, promise, make a commitment to.

Ego Authority... in this lecture, we're going to revisit the defined ego. We'll talk about how Ego Authority is an inner authority that's based on the energy of the will.

Specifically, we'll look at the two different versions of Ego Authority that exist, Ego Manifested and Ego projected. And as we've been doing with every authority since Solar plexus. We'll talk about the openness in this case below the ego.

So the experience of having all of those other potential authority centers which are stronger or louder, undefined.

For our ego authority beings, the ego center, also known as the heart center, is the weakest of the four motors and provides the fuel for our willpower. It is about how we deal with the material world, our ego, will, commitment, control and competition.

There's also themes here in the ego center of self esteem, self efficacy and value, where anyone who has a defined ego, minority of the population, about 30%, you have a fixed will. When it comes to your willpower, you either have it or you don't. But either way, it's not something that can be negotiated with.

There's not a flexibility there. When you feel motivated to do something with the defined ego, you can generally trust that you'll maintain that motivation.

Where there's a will, there's a way that cliche works. For those with a defined ego, you have the ability to commit and follow through when the will is there.

When that ego motor is turned on, you might have a natural sense of self esteem and self worth that comes from understanding essentially that when there's a will, there's a way. For the defined ego person, it's useful to be mindful of your tendency to hold others accountable.

Try to understand and honor a fluctuating willpower from others. Again, the majority of the population has an undefined egocenter.

So for most people, it is not healthy to operate from a place of making commitments based on will. However, for ego authority, you have a defined ego center. And in fact, the ego center is your inner authority.

It is the primary filter for your experience. It is your anchor.

So for ego authority people especially, it is healthiest for you to move through your life by making commitments to the things that you have the will to do.

And on the other end of that, not making commitments, not trying to negotiate with or budge when it comes to not having the willpower to contribute, not having the will to make commitments and follow through. So all of these defined ego sort of qualities.

For ego authority becomes the ultimate inner authority that offers correct orientation to everything in your inner and outer worlds. The ego center is one of our four motor centers, the energized will.

This is the only other authority center that, like the sacral, is energy, fuel, motor. Without awareness, the sacral center is felt more strongly.

It's more fuel, more energy, it's deeper in the gut, but it's also a different kind of energy. It's energy that's for life, energy, for creation. Anything that feels satisfying. The ego motor is less energy, but it also has a sort of edge to it.

It's associated with the heart. It's the energy for what your heart is in. And so with the ego authority, we're again dealing with these themes of commitment and value.

Three of the four gates in the ego center are tribal gates.

So as we've kind of brushed over multiple times in these lectures, tribal gates are associated with the material world as well as support within the tribe, material support within the community.

And so the ego has to do not only with what do I have the energy for, but what do I have the energy to contribute, to offer, and what is the value that that brings to the tribe, to the community. So there's tends to be a bit of a theme of reciprocity in the ego center that doesn't exist in the sacral.

And important to note that this is an energy alone. So like the sacral, different kind of energy, but it's energy alone.

The ego is a motor center that, unlike the solar plexus, does not also have awareness built into it. So there's no awareness here with the ego. It's an intelligence that is completely separate from awareness.

It is not the mind, and unlike the sacral, it's inconsistent in its production of energy. So ego beings, they are non sacrals, manifestors and projectors.

These are beings, ego authority beings are beings who do not have energy to consistently show up only for those things that will specifically make a difference in the material realm based on their particular will, and has a very specific value and personal value added inconsistently.

So for ego authority people, the basic idea here is that what you have the will to do is your inner authority, following your sense of motivation and will is everything for you.

The ego center is not the mind. Even defined ego beings are not in mental control of what their body has the will to do.

Ego authority is not about what you think you should be willing to do, right?

In fact, defined egos, even if the ego is not your authority, defined ego beings are unable from a mental place at all to adjust what it is they have the willpower for. That's not actually the case for the majority of the population.

The majority of the population have an undefined ego, which means that their mind actually very much can affect the way that their willpower shows up from a not self place. But for defined ego beings, that's a fixed part of you.

It can be pushed and through the the not self themes of all of the other centers below your ego that are undefined. In the case of ego authority, but you actually it can't budge. It's set, it's fixed. Similarly for sacral beings, the life force is fixed, right?

The generator's not in control from a mental place of what they have energy for or not what their sacral yeses and nos are. Same thing with the ego center. It's a. It's on or off. Ego authority is not about what you think you're able to commit to.

Rather it's about what you feel you are capable of doing and the value both added and received from the exertion of your will. Now, ego projected authority and ego manifested authority are very different.

We've talked about this with every authority so far, except for sacral, because sacral authority beings are always generators. But the way that your authority functions is secondary to the way that your aura functions for all these other non sacral authorities thus far.

Emotional and splenic and ego, there's three or two different aura types that this authority works within. And so this distinction between ego manifested and ego projected is not that different than what we did for splenic and emotional authority.

Making the distinctions by type. However, it is a little bit more specific of a distinction.

Because if we look at what creates an ego projector versus what creates an ego manifestor, it's two completely different channels. Let's break that down a little bit. Taking a look at the ego center, it only has four channels that it could be defined by.

So ego authorities are projectors or manifestors who also do not have the solar plexus or the spleen. Defined. And so that leaves us to these two channels.

If you have an ego manifestor design versus projecting a part of your projector design, if it's going to the G. To be clear, there could be an ego manifestor who does not have this ego manifested channel, but rather has the ego defined to the G and then the G defined to the throat. So that would still be an ego manifestor because they still have motor to throat definition.

And so that version of an ego manifester is going to have some nuance to their design that's going to function a little bit differently than some of what we might talk about with the ego manifester here. But it's still the same idea. It has like a longer route to coming to be. So we'll talk about that when we talk about ego manifestors specifically.

If the ego is defined through channel connection to the throat, it is manifested authority. Ego manifested authority.

This is an authority that more specifically than just being about the will, involves the will, the energy of the will being expressed through the voice, which also is about being manifested through the voice because it is a motor. So it's about the willpower actually initiating.

And the kind of key point here is that for ego manifestors, we're now not only talking about the ego, but we're talking about the ego in relation to the throat. We're talking about the voice becomes a part of the authority for ego manifested authority versus for ego projected authority.

Always at least this one channel, and often only that one channel, and never any channel below that, or any channel that connects it to the throat. This being the ego projected authority.

So much of what they are comes down to this connection of the ego to the G, the willpower connecting to the sense of Self, love and direction. This is an authority that more specifically than just being about the will, involves the will's ability to power the direction of self.

So this is a very specific kind of projector. And we'll start there. We'll start with projectors channel 51 to 25, the channel of initiation being what creates an ego projector.

Ego projected authority is rooted in there being a fixed sense of self and self direction, which in addition to being fixed and defined, is also powerful because it's energized by the will, energized by the ego. The key for ego projectors is to attune to that powerful sense of self and direction specific to the potential of their will.

What direction do I have the will to move in? And this brings up themes of value, because whenever we're talking about the ego, we're talking about value.

The ego projector might consider things like what's in it for me and what do I want? There's something about the ego projector that is very distinct.

When we talk about these themes of projectors typically being very other oriented, the ego projector still has this aura that's very other oriented, right? Because it's naturally focusing in on the other, it's paying attention to and energetically penetrating the other.

And with the ego projector, the part that remains the same, right, that remember for the projector lecture I talked a lot about, there's this compare and contrast when I plug into all these different beings, what remains the same, that's me and everything that changes, that's everything else, that's the conditioning and that's the other. So for the ego projector, the thing that remains the same is the sense of self powered by this will, this personal will.

And so the thing that remains the same are questions like what's in this for me and what do I want? And do I have the willpower to go here?

So there's like a little bit of an edge here that we might not typically always think of when we're so focused on this projector other oriented sort of sentiment.

And this idea might be true for any projectors with a defined ego in general or specifically as well, any projectors who have a defined ego and a defined G or even especially so projectors who have this channel, right? Because having this channel alone doesn't make you an ego projector.

But having this channel without any other channel definition below is what makes you an ego projector.

So some of these ego projector themes are going to resonate for emotional and splenic Projectors who also have an ego defined, a G defined or especially ego G defined through this channel. These two questions of what's in it for me and what do I want?

Are key sentiments for the ego projector to feel into as they're navigating life with their strategy of waiting for invitations.

Although the sense of self and value is strong, the potential for conditioning via amplification from the four loud centers below the ego in G to distort how the ego operates is also strong. Right? So you'll hear people talk a lot in human design about the ego being kind of a weak motor.

And this is because it really only gives you energy for what your heart is in, but also because the ego is. It can be pushed, just like the sacral can be pushed beyond what it has the capacity for and into frustration. This can happen with the ego as well.

But because the ego has this association with willpower, there is a tendency, and also I would say because most of the population has an undefined and therefore bendable flexible will, there can be an expectation for defined ego beings to try to adjust their will when they can't. And that's extremely unhealthy for their defined heart.

It's literally unhealthy for the heart physically, energetically, metaphorically, emotionally, spiritually, all the ways.

And so while the defined ego person might feel kind of in control or edgy as a conditioning force to those with an undefined ego, there really is a sensitivity here with the defined ego. It will not be healthy when it is not listened to.

And there's, especially if this is your authority, so many different voices in the body, in the conditioning coming into your aura and getting taken over by the mind that are competing with the clear yes or no of that willpower.

And when that happens, a distorted defined ego will push the projector, in this case beyond their capacity due to the conditioning forces of the undefined centers and the ability for the projector to easily manipulate the generating and manifesting capabilities of the other types that they focus on.

So especially for projectors, there's a potential to be easily energetically manipulated because of the level of depth that you're absorbing the other, because of how easy it is to lose yourself in this process of taking in the other, and especially in the ego projector because there's so much openness in these louder centers at the bottom of your body graph we talked about in the projector lecture.

The not self projector is good at because they're smart, because they've been gifted with these really apt Minds, because they are an awareness type, the not self projector can so easily just imitate the other types and lose themselves in that process. And that's going to be really unhealthy on this little motor of the heart when it's pushing beyond what the true will is there to do.

When willfulness is present, it can be an extra challenge for the projector's mind to be willing to wait for the invitation rather than to imitate manifestation or imitate initiations. Instead, ego projectors can relax into their process of waiting and trust that their value will be seen and recognized.

Then when the invitations come, the ego projector knows how to navigate them through their sense of self and their owning of the value of their contributions in their will. So ego projectors, really, it's about doubling down on your awareness of your own value and your own contributions of self.

And even when you know what you see, even when you know that you can make an extremely valuable contribution, understanding that if you do so outside of invitation, outside of true recognition, you're falling into territory where you will very easily be energetically manipulated and you will come into bitterness and all of like. Even beyond that, there's also the fact that it's never gonna feel mechanically correct to initiate.

There's something about, like, the ego being so close to the throat, this idea of, like, if we think about the throat as this is where we influence and where we impact, and the ego has this feeling of, like, force of will. It's not control. But sometimes I think of the ego as like, the director. And I think our mind very easily it goes for the ego because it want.

It thinks if it can control something, it's gonna do it with the ego because the ego's the director.

And with the ego to throat connection, and they're so close, they're in such close proximity to each other in the body graph, it doesn't take much for the ego to get to the throat. So when a projector has an ego defined, and especially potentially in an ego projector, in many cases, you'll have, like, almost a gate.

I tend to notice that projectors with the defined egos in general, and maybe especially ego projectors specifically, when there's like one missing gate before they would become an ego manifestor or a manifestor with a defined ego, that waiting can be especially challenging because their body Is so close at any given point to being able to initiate from the will. And so it can.

It can take a bit of extra patience and experimentation to really play with and observe that when that happens, when the mind tries to force through the will, it's going to result in bitterness. It's going to result in mechanical discomfort all around. Now, let's talk about something. Another little kind of contradiction here.

The channel that defines the ego to the g is an individual channel, and it's called the channel of initiation. And this channel is keynoted, A design of needing to be first.

So this is something that might feel, yeah, contradictory and confusing to the ego projector, because the frequency here is here to initiate. But as a projector, projectors with this channel. Let's break this down a bit.

And we won't get too deeply into that. It's been nicknamed, like the channel of the shaman. And I have this channel.

So I'm speaking somewhat from experience here As I talk about the frequency of this channel. Channel of initiation, A design of needing to be first, but it's a design of needing to be first on your own mystical journey.

People with this channel tend to their life is a series of leaps of faith and risks that sort of have kind of like fool the fool card energy.

If you're familiar with the tarot, Understanding that through taking those leaps, you're initiating yourself into these new shamanic experiences in your life. So what does this mean? Channel of initiation.

But as a projector, anyone with this channel, your frequency, initiates others the same way that your energy, your life experience, Tends to be very much about taking these leaps of faith that initiate you spiritually, your frequency brings that to others. But in the case of a projector, this is still not a frequency that directly influences.

By initiating the influence right to the throat directly, you, still haven't a projector aura. Even though this channel is called the channel of initiation. Because this is not a mechanical initiation.

This is a spiritual initiation, a shamanic initiation.

Ego manifested authority is rooted in the ego's connection to the throat and the ego's ability to be expressed and manifested, the energy of the will power being expressed and manifested. So this brings the throat into the equation for ego manifestors.

A key for ego manifestors is to listen to what they say and to trust the voice of their heart rather than the voice of their mind.

So with ego manifested authority, we're sort of initiating into all the, the rest of the, the rarest and in some ways complicated seeming authorities.

Because what we have to look at beyond ego authority is the self projected projector, which we'll look at next, the mental projector and the reflector.

And as we get to those three authorities, we'll see kind of a common theme throughout that is the easiest to grasp when we're talking about self projected projectors and ego manifestors.

But also that strongly applies to mental projectors with environmental authority and reflectors with lunar authority, a theme of listening for the frequency of truth in your voice. And so just pointing that out here, that I'm going to introduce this concept with the ego manifestor.

But in true manifestor fashion here, this piece is kind of initiating us into a theme that will hold true in a differentiated capacity for self projected projectors, mental projectors who have environmental authority and reflectors who have lunar authority. For ego manifestors, listen to what they say, trust the voice of their heart, of their ego, rather than the voice of their mind.

The channel that connects the ego to the throat is a tribal channel called the money line, with a design of materialism.

So again, the ego is concerned with material reality and our ability to, especially when it's connected to the throat, to impact change, to control, to affect material reality and the resources within material reality. This channel is concerned with exerting and manifesting its will in regards to the tribal material realm.

The ego manifestors are already the rarest of the manifestors.

Ego manifesters, all of them, regardless of the configuration of their design, are fixed in their orientation towards the use and expression of their will, value and physical and energetic resources. And this fixicity is their inner authority because it is either all of who they are. Many ego and manifestors just have this channel and that's it.

Or they could have definition above the throat as well, or in the G as well. But it is either all of their fixicity or it is a significant component of their fixicity.

Because ego manifesters are always going to be undefined in these four centers. Otherwise they would be splenic or emotional. The ego manifester is a stubborn being, stubborn with the closed aura, stubborn with the fixed will.

And the fixed wills need to be expressed and to initiate what's correct for them through their ego. And that fixicity is everything to the ego manifestor. That particular aspect of them is who they are. The will is not the same as the mind.

The ego manifestor's mind is not in control of what they have the will to do or manifest. Rather the mind is distorted by the not self strategies of all the undefined centers below the ego ego.

It's important for ego manifestors to trust what they say in the flow of the moment. It is what the heart focused manifestor organically expresses without the interruption of the mind. That is the truth for them.

From the definitive book of human design, this quote. Your voice initiates and runs your life. Your voice leads and you follow. Trust in your voice.

So oftentimes with ego manifestors there's this process and this is one of those themes that's going to kind of follow us through the rest of the authorities through self projected projectors, mental projectors and reflectors, but in a very specific way. For ego manifestors there's can be like chatter happening, like just process. Everything's being processed.

And some of this is like junk from all the openness and from the mind being informed by all the openness.

And then there will be a moment where the heart hits and you kind of get to the core of what it is that that ego manifester actually wants, what their will is actually oriented towards. And then you can hear that. Or if you are the ego manifestor, you can feel it in your body. You can. You can feel it in your throat a bit.

Speaking from experience personally, because again I'm a manifester with a defined ego.

I don't have this channel but my ego goes through my G into my throat and I'm also speaking from experience of observing the ego manifestors that I witness. You can hear something kind of turn on that cuts through all of the other stuff.

So for ego manifestors, let your voice, your heart led voice, initiate your life. You are here to initiate what is correct for you in your life based on your will.

For both ego projectors and ego manifestors, a bit of a summary here on the ego as your anchor, as the filter for your openness and the spokesperson for your definition. The majority of the world's population is operating with an undefined or open ego and thus has a malleable experience with will.

The not self of the undefined or open ego center thinks that willpower is something that can be mentally controlled, but the defined ego being knows or learns that it is not at the mercy of the mind.

For ego authority beings, your authority is about whether your heart is in it or not, not about what your mind has to say about it when your heart is in it.

Your offerings to the world, whether through invitation for ego projected authority or through initiation for ego manifested authority, are of value and you know it. You know your value with a defined ego and your knowledge of your value is your authority.

When your heart is in it, you naturally experience reciprocity for your contributions. When your heart isn't in it, it's not for you.

Trusting your heart is key to your well being and will assure right relationship with all of the loud, shifting energies, pressures and awarenesses in your openness.
