Happy Sunday! A mild day today, some slightly bad news in the report, but you'll have to listen to find out more.

Firstly, If you were listening yesterday, I got the date wrong. But I assure you, it was Saturday, and the report was up to date. I hope you had a great day if you were on the snow, or in fact wherever you were.

Moving on to today, which is definitely Sunday 28th August … It’s going to be partly cloudy at the NSW resorts, with the chance of a sprinkle of rain around lunchtime. That’s not great, but don’t let it deter you - it looks like it will be much less than a millimeter so you will barely get wet. There’s also a chance it will be snow at the very top of the resorts, though i;m definitely not betting on it.

At Thredbo it looks like a max of 5 degrees, with light breezes and the occasionally strong gust. At Perisher, we’re looking at a max of 9 degrees with light breezes, gusting up a little but not much. Is Gusting even a word? Dis-gusting! Excuse me, it’s still early… anyway, Charlotte Pass will be much the same as perisher, i.e. 9 degrees and light breezes.

You won’t need chains on the roads today, but take it easy as it’s probably going to be busy, particularly this morning.
