Shownotes

In this episode of the 411 Live, Beverly Taylor talks to Nancy Yarbrough, founder of Fresh Start Learning, Inc about the fine line of dating and being groomed for trafficking. We will explore the explosive topic of the dangers sex trafficking brings into the realm of dating. Sadly, some victims of sex trafficking were introduced to it by being groomed for sex trafficking when they thought they were dating someone. This horrifying reality happens too often and Nancy Yarbrough will help us navigate through it. Nancy Yarbrough tells her own story and the experience she went through. She knows first-hand the vulnerabilities traffickers use to victimize someone and the tactic of “dating” to groom them. Through her own story we’re able to learn what to look for, their intentions, and how they treat you. You may be thinking that anyone should be able to know when they’re being groomed for sex trafficking compared to when it’s the real deal but sadly this happens too often. Join us as we get real about being groomed or dating. This is the 411 Live. If you are new to The 411 Live podcast, we would love to hear from you.
